"Deconstruction" and "Ghost" — the third and fourth in a series of albums from Canadian musician/producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, STEVE VAI, LAMB OF GOD, DARKEST HOUR, GWAR) to be made available under THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT moniker — will likely be released in the summer. Townsend writes on his Twitter account, "I deliver [the finished masters] on March 1, so maybe [the record company] can get it out earlier [than the summer]." In other news, Townsend's previously announced new live EP, which was supposed to be made available for free download this week via Century Media Records' web site, has been delayed until next Wednesday, February 9. Devin states, "Getting the free EP up has been more semantics than I assumed."

According to the Plotek.pl web site, Adam "Nergal" Darski, the 33-year-old leukemia-stricken guitarist/vocalist of the Polish extreme metal act BEHEMOTH, will remain in the hospital until at least next Tuesday so that he can continue to receive tratment for an infection he developed six weeks after he underwent a bone marrow transplant procedure. "The patient is feeling well and is under constant medical observation," Andrzej Hellmann of Department of Haematology and Transplantology at the Medical University of Gdansk told the web site. "Being in the hospital is certainly safer for the body." Darski was readmitted to the hematology division of Uniwersyteckie Centrum Kliniczne (UCK) in Gdansk "because he did not care proper care of himself," Dr. Maria Bieniaszewska, assistant professor in the Department of Hematology, told the Fakt.pl web site. According to Marrow.org, most infections happen in the first 100 days after a transplant, but they remain a risk as long as the patient's immune system is weak.

Long-running Czech black metal band ROOT has inked a deal with Agonia Records. The group is currently recording its ninth full-length album for a fall release. According to the label, fans can expect to hear "more epic, slower compositions as well as some more agressive and faster parts."

E JESI ČOVEK... EVO SKIDAM...

A Khan vaskrsne Conception i svi srećni i zadovoljni. Inače, ni ne krivim čoveka ako mu se ide kakva su poslednja 2-3 Kamelot albuma.

I meni se čini. I govorili su valjda da nije nikakva ovako fizička bolest nego neki stres, živci, šta ti ja znam...

Jebote, koji je ovo matriks? Je l' ti ozbiljno misliš da bi neko ko je "pravoslavac u srcu i duši" širio otvoreno antihrišćansku poruku hiljadama ljudi? A i argument je vrlo jak, kao da kažeš da sam ja sigurno vernik jer sam iz Srbije.

Šljaka regularno.

A ja sam skontao da bih jako želeo da Ava ode malo više u fado, ne samo sa njenim vokalom nego i da ubace malo akustike i tako tih zajebancija, prosto znam da bi to zvučalo savršeno.

Da da, i prošli je bio catchy na svoj način, naročito "Be Damned" npr. sa onim kabare šmekom, ali ovog puta su, čini mi se, dodatno pojednostavnili priču, tj. vokalne linije su prostije i lakše ulaze u uvo ali su podjednako sjajne, rifovi su više heavy i melodije direktnije... Mada mi se čini da pri kraju, u poslednje dve pesme, ipak uplove u one poznate vode. Generalno, ovoliko održavanje visokog nivoa kvaliteta na 4 albuma uzastopce nije normalno, ali Blasphemer je to, jebem ga ludog.

Ashmedi-jeve kolumne su napisane unapred, stoga ne očekujte ništa aktuelno i čovek je po nacionalnosti Jermen/Asirac.

Florida death metal veterans SIX FEET UNDER have announced the addition of drummer Kevin Talley (DAATH, MISERY INDEX, CHIMAIRA) to the group's ranks. Commented SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes: "I am 110 percent stoked to have Kevin join SIX FEET UNDER. He is undeniably one of the best, if not THE best drummer in death metal, and I'm proud to have him along for the ride!" In a previous statement, Barnes promised that SIX FEET UNDER's new lineup would be "a death metal force to be dealt with," with "riffs that will rip your face off [and] vocals ala 1993-1995."

Nije još curnulo. Jebeš takve prikaze, ovo je totalni Ava Inferi stil s tim što je press info u pravu - malo je više "catchy" nego do sada, sa izraženijim rifovima i melodijama. Npr, mislim da je glavni rif u "Majesty" sve ono što MDB pokušavaju da ubodu već nekoliko albuma unazad, "((Ghostlights))" jebe isto, naslovna je super... a posebna poslastica je "The Heathen Island" - 9 minuta traje, čini mi se da je inspirisana filmom "The Wicker Man". Ne mogu da garantujem, ali mislim da su inserti u njoj odatle, uglavnom - ima nekog čudnog 70's rock prizvuka, delova kad riba peva preko basa i bubnja... Ma sjajan je album, nemam zamerke.

Edu Falaschi (ANGRA, ALMAH) will be a special guest at KAMELOT's April 9 concert in Espaço Lux in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Brazil as part of the "Pandemonium Over South America 2011" tour. Falaschi will share the stage with such great singers as Fabio Lione (RHAPSODY OF FIRE), Simone Simons (EPICA) and Elyze Ryd (AMARANTHE), who will perform with KAMELOT on this tour. KAMELOT drummer Casey Grillo recorded the drums for the debut self-titled album from ALMAH. Commented Falaschi: "It's a huge honor for me to perform live with my friend Casey, Thomas [Youngblood] and all the guys from KAMELOT. Today the band counts on the great singer Fabio Lione who helps them in this tour. They called me to take part in this show in my hometown city, São Paulo! It's clear that I immediately said 'yes!' We are talking about KAMELOT! One of my favorite metal bands ever! "For those who don't know, Casey recorded the drum parts for the first ALMAH CD in 2006 and since then we have become friends even more. And especially due to this fact, I will do my best in order to give to all KAMELOT fans an unforgettable night! I'll put my heart in it!"
