Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH will release their second DVD, "Evangelia Heretika", this fall. More details, such as the DVD content, video clips, and pre-order information, will be made available in the coming weeks. Commented BEHEMOTH vocalist/guitarist Adam "Nergal" Darski: "We've been through hell and back to make this release happen. "I know we only have a few DVDs in our catalogue so far but they are not even close to what you are gonna experience with 'Evangelia Heretika'! "Expect approximately five hours of essential BEHEMOTH. "Evangelia Heretika" (see cover artwork below) will be released in the U.S. via Metal Blade Records, in Europe through Nuclear Blast Records, and in Poland via Mystic Records.

Hm, jebem li ga, meni je i prosli bio kul ali videcemo.

Boli ih kurac, imaju 3 gitare u postavi pa mogu da se zajebavaju sa "twin" fazonima koliko hoce. Cujem da su na Metal Camp-u odrali, i to na fazon da su samo izasli na binu, svirali sat vremena bez pauze, jednu jedinu rec nisu rekli publici, samo se pokupili i otisli. Carevi.

SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo told MusikUniverse.net that he was the only member of the veteran thrash metal act to take part in the "Big Four" jam in Sofia, Bulgaria because his bandmates "don't do that kind of thing." Many fans were surprised to see that Lombardo was the only musician from SLAYER to perform with members of METALLICA, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX at the end of the June 22 "Big Four" concert broadcast from the Sonisphere festival in Bulgaria. Lombardo explained to MusikUniverse.net: "I'm the only one who knows how to jam and have a good time! The other guys, they don't do that kind of thing. They just know their music when it's written and that's it — they don't know how to go up and improvise and enjoy themselves. Jeff [Hanneman; guitar] does a little bit, but not the other guys [bassist/vocalist Tom Araya and guitarist Kerry King]."

Bassist Karin Axelsson of the Swedish/British modern metallers SONIC SYNDICATE was reportedly "seriously injured" during the filming of the band's new video, "Turn It Up". According to a press release, the incident occurred while the group was shooting a scene where the members of SONIC SYNDICATE were being murdered with a guitar by a "sexy girl." Although the scene was intended to be staged, Karin actually got hit in the head with the instrument, causing a laceration as well as a brain concussion.

Veteran German thrashers SODOM have set "In War And Pieces" as the title of their new album, due on November 22, 2010 via SPV/Steamhammer. The CD is being produced by Waldemar Sorychta, who has previously worked with TIAMAT, MOONSPELL, LACUNA COIL and SENTENCED, among many others. SODOM bassist/vocalist Thomas "Angelripper" Such recently stated about the group's new material, "There has never been a SODOM album which is so wide-ranged, as powerful and as typically SODOM as this one."
