Former HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST and current TRIPTYKON frontman Tom Gabriel Fischer will release a 288-page hardcover book, "Only Death Is Real: An Illustrated History of Hellhammer and Early Celtic Frost 1981-1985", in November through Bazillion Points Books. "The impetus [for the book] is my life, and the events that took place during the past few, very intense years," Fischer tells AOL's Noisecreep. "I have always remained very closely connected, emotionally, to the early days of my career and the very drastic and unique circumstances of my existence at the time. "Reforming CELTIC FROST, the group I originally founded all those years ago, provoked an even closer review of this intimate background of mine. Eventually, I had researched and collected so much material that the idea of a book began to materialize." "Only Death Is Real" is the culmination of four years of research, writing, and design. All of the former main members of HELLHAMMER — Steve Warrior, Bruce Day, Martin Eric Ain, and Stephen Priestly — have contributed to this project, along with primary original HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST photographers Martin Kyburz, Andreas Schwarber, and Csaba Kézér. "All of the photos published in the book represent deeply personal and important moments in my life," Fischer tells Noisecreep. "Many of the photos capture the unique energy that characterized our group of friends and musicians at a time when metal was experiencing a major rebirth and an infusion with previously unknown power and heaviness. It is thus utterly impossible for me to single out individual photos as favorites. I sometimes wish we would have had room for the other hundreds of unpublished photos still in my archive, but I am confident we selected the very best and most significant ones for the book."

Ne seri da je najzad stigao novi Varathron? O, pa to moram da overim kao pravi helenista. Odlagalo se vec mesecima, trebao je jos u avgustu da izadje. A probacu i ovo r'n'r sranje, bas me zanima kakvo je.

Swiss pagan horde ELUVEITIE has finished recording its third album, "Everything Remains", for an early 2010 release via Nuclear Blast Records. The band's mainman, Chrigel Glanzmann, is currently attending the mixing sessions at Nott-In Pill studios in Wales with Colin Richardson (SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, KREATOR, BEHEMOTH, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE) and Martyn "Ginge" Ford. Commented Glanzmann: "Right now I'm with Colin and Martyn working on the mix of the album. And believe me, the mix will be mind-blowing! Well, what can I say… Colin is just a pure genius! "We can look back at two extremely intense months of working our asses off recording the album. It has been an intense, exhausting, but also satisfying time with all of us giving 150% in. Many things developed very spontaneously and songs became very authentic, pure and genuine. "Speaking of the recording, I have to mention the amazing job of Tommy Vetterli [CORONER, KREATOR], for sure, who really worked his balls off for the album! Furthermore, we can already give you a first glimpse of the artwork, which has again been done by famous artist Travis Smith, who already did the cover for 'Spirit'. Yet the lyrics pretty much focus on the 'human' aspects of those historical happenings and also behold them with some questioning and probably also with a slightly bittersweet smile, being well aware of the fact that today we simply cannot tell how things exactly have been back then."

S oprostenjem, za mene je CoF/Moonspell/Turisas kao paket objektivno jaci od Marduk i Vader-a pa koje god godine da padaju.

Utisci? Pa, ovako: masivan album, pre svega. Bas treba vremena da se fino saslusa i "svari". Dosta je tvrdji od proslog i ima vise black metala i same pesme su manje zarazne i "folky" a vise mracne, brze, jake... Favorit pesme - naslovna, "Память" (e ova jeste sva folky i zarazna ) i "Лики бессмертных Богов". Fina je i ona 15-minutna ali ja sam, brate, ocekivao nesto pompeznije, ova je bas nekako usporena i elegicna. Sve u svemu, jako dobar album, ali "От Сердца к Небу" ipak ostaje neprikosnoven i nedodirljiv. Hahaha.

A ja bih najvise voleo da predgrupa uopste ne bude. Rekoh vec: ja od sada na Vader i Marduk gledam kao na domace bendove, sviraju ovde cesce od nekih nasih "elitnih" bendova. Malo sam skeptican po pitanju Vader-a s obzirom na novu postavu, jer, realno: Mauser > ovaj decko iz Decapitated-a; Novy >>>>>> ovaj novi () lik; Daray >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> novi bubnjar. Ali videcemo. A sto se tice Marduka, bas me zanima na sta ce da lici setlista posto su samo jednu pesmu svirali na oba prosla koncerta, sve ostalo je menjano.

Imali smo vec na ovom podforumu jednu temu na kojoj smo pricali o tome kako ovdasnju publiku mrzi da istrazuje muziku i kako su upravo zahvaljujuci tome Maideni i Metallica i dalje favoriti mase. Uostalom, da se ne lazemo, najveci procenat ovdasnje (potencijalne) publike cine klinci od nekih 16-17 godina koji se loze na "Run to the hills", biraju dvolitru u plasticnoj flasi u parku pre nego odlazak na neku svirku, imaju mizeran nivo znanja o muzici itd. pa to ni ne cudi. Naravno, nemam nista protiv kada bend ubaci poneku inteligentnu i pazljivo odabranu obradu tu i tamo da ucini svirku zanimljivijom, ali totalni tribute bendovi (a 90% njih imaju unapred poznat repertoar koji svi znaju napamet) nikad nisu bili moj fah.

Sto? Meni "American Psycho" bese super album.
