MPIRE OF EVIL (formerly PRIMEVIL) — the band formed in 2010 by ex-VENOM members Jeff "Mantas" Dunn (guitar) and Tony "The Demolition Man" Dolan (bass, vocals) — finished laying down the drums for its forthcoming second album, tentatively due in November.

"Häxagram", the new video from Swedish hard rockers THE GRAVIATORS, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "Evil Deeds", which will be released on August 31 via Napalm Records. According to a press release, THE GRAVIATORS "revitalize the spirit of the '70s without sounding like a dusty retro band, because the Swedes skillfully give each track their own character. New Orleans metal misanthropes HAARP will release their new studio offering, "Husks", on September 18 through Housecore Records. The follow-up to 2010's "The Filth" offers up three tracks of crushing, post-apocalyptic dirge. "Husks" was recorded at the University of New Orleans Performing Arts Center, Fountainbleau Room 7011, and Nodferatu's Lair by DOWN/ex-PANTERA frontman and Housecore owner Philip H. Anselmo, engineered by Steve Berrigan and Nathan Weidenhaft and mastered at Visceral Sounds by Scott Hull.
