German thrash metal heroes TANKARD have just released the title of their upcoming Nuclear Blast debut. The name of the anniversary-record is: "A Girl Called Cerveza" The album is currently being produced at the famous Studio 23 with renowned producer Michael Mainx (BÖHSE ONKELZ, DER W, DISBELIEF, D-A-D) in Frankfurt, Germany. The alcoholic metal outfit have also revealed the first part of the new album cover. Keep your eyes open for the second part to be released soon!

Former STRATOVARIUS, REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE and SYMFONIA mainman Timo Tolkki has launched a PledgeMusic.com campaign to support the release of his fourth solo album, "Classical Variations 2: Credo". Tentatively due on October 29, 2012, the double album will include over two hours of music and will feature guest appearances by Tuomo Lassila (the founder of STRATOVARIUS) on drums, Michael Vescera (OBSESSSION, LOUDNESS, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on vocals and Michele Luppi (THAUROROD, ex-VISION DIVINE) on vocals.

British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST have teamed up with Decibel magazine to give fans a gold-on-black flexi disc for the exclusive B-side "The Last Fallen Saviour". This track will only be available in Decibel's June issue (out in May), and it comes from the recording sessions of "Tragic Idol", the band's forthcoming studio album which is set to be released through Century Media Records on April 23 in Europe and April 24 in North America.
