Virginia crossover thrash metal band MUNICIPAL WASTE has completed work on its fifth studio album, "The Fatal Feast", for a spring 2012 release via Nuclear Blast Records. Commented MUNICIPAL WASTE lead singer Tony Foresta: "[This] record is going to feature some guest spots from John Connelly [guitarist and vocalist for NUCLEAR ASSAULT], Steve Moore [who plays bass and synthesizers for ZOMBI], and [vocalist] Tim Barry [ex-AVAIL]." He added, "The WASTE is really looking forward to providing you with the soundtrack to the end of the world in 2012. See you there!"

Maryland extreme metallers DYING FETUS have set "Reign Supreme" as the title of their new album, due mid-2012 via Relapse Records. The CD is being recorded at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore with longtime producer Steve Wright (SLIPKNOT, MISERY INDEX). The effort will feature nine tracks and is "a 'return to roots,' with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works," according to a press release. "Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know." Commented DYING FETUS guitarist/vocalist John Gallagher: "The last album had some groove in it, but [it] was basically a lot of tech; this one is a return to form of older DYING FETUS albums, so to speak — more modern production, though, of course. Everything's tight, the sound is crushing, the drums are amazing."

Kao što reče kolega, otkazalo je to srce davno, ovo novo šljaka sasvim fino. Nova Sepultura dere a Maxovi fanovi bi već jednom mogli da se pomire sa činjenicom da Green već ima duži staž u bendu od njega. E sad, ako ste toliko slepo vezani za Maxov lik i delo da ne možete slušati dobru mjuzu ako je Max ne svira, to je drugo. A da ubedite svet da, recimo, "Kairos" kao album ne valja - ne ide ni to, verujte.

Meni je baš nenormalno proletelo tih 70 minuta, negde oko 35.-40. minuta sam pao u trans i dozvao se pameti pred kraj. I ne, nisam bio odvaljen.

Evo, tek da razmrdamo temu. Ubice su uživo totalne, oko toga smo se valjda svi već složili. Posebno mi odgovara kod njih što se, iako su stoner instrumentalisti (uglavnom), uživo ne gube u nekim improvizacijama i izdrkavanjima nego, brate, sviraju PESME pune rifova, onakve kakvima želiš da ih čuješ i ćao.

Svakako ćemo praviti mikstejpove svi pa ću tamo staviti sve što smatram da je vredelo, mrzi me ovako.

A i svi ovde već manje-više znate šta mi se sviđalo a šta ne. Eto, toliko od mene.
