  1. Nastave li kvalitativno kako su krenuli na poslednja dva albuma, biće jebanje. Ne verujem u fail opciju preterano.
  2. According to our latest info, the follow-up to Cradle's 2010 concept album Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa (check out our review here) has a few songs past the demo stage: "The Abhorrent," "Siding with the Titans," and a still-untitled third track. In the Ultimate Guitar interview, Paul went into more detail about their progress, also revealing that the new material would not be a concept album like so many of its predecessors, but would recapture the feel of the band's earlier material. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/interviews/interviews/cradle_of_filth_we_decided_to_go_back_to_what_we_used_to_do.html

    Earth

The second half of Seattle drone icons EARTH's "Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light" is being prepared for release on Southern Lord in North America this February 14 on CD, LP and digital download formats. Recorded in the same two-week session as 2011's lauded "Angels Of Darkness, Demons of Light I" by Stuart Hallerman at Avast and mastered by Mell Detmer, "Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II" carries on in the freely and folkloric vein of the last release and invokes even more improvisational and unrestrained energy than its predecessor. "Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II" is striking in many ways, not least in the wildly improvised nature of this particular recording. The songs "Sigil Of Brass" and "The Corascene Dog" perfectly emphasize how the interplay between the foursome has evolved even further since the first installment. Meanwhile, the track "His Teeth Did Brightly Shine" veers further into an entirely other direction, recalling sounds of the great British Acid Folk generation. This new material brings forth some highly original and deeply mesmerizing tones throughout, at times more hopeful and less dark and death oriented than previous work. "Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II" is ultimately a completely unanticipated direction for EARTH, and a very welcome one at that. The lineup again consists of Adrienne Davies on drums and percussion (on this release there is more percussion of all sorts), Lori Goldston (NIRVANA, DAVID BYRNE, BLACK CAT ORCHESTRA, LAURA VEIRS) returns on cello, and Karl Blau (LAURA VEIRS, MICROPHONES) plays bass. This also marks the first time the band on the record has toured outside of the U.S. West Coast in preparation for the album. As with the first part, it again has truly amazing artwork by Stacey Rozich. "Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II" track listing: 01. Sigil of Brass 02. His Teeth Did Brightly Shine 03. Multiplicity of Doors 04. The Corascene Dog 05. The Rakehell

  19. Florida-based death metallers SIX FEET UNDER have demoed 26 songs for their forthcoming album, tentatively due in early 2012 via Metal Blade Records. According to singer Chris Barnes, "14 or 15" tracks will make the final cut for the follow-up to 2008's "Death Rituals", which will mark the recording debut of SIX FEET UNDER's current lineup — guitarist Rob Arnold (CHIMAIRA), drummer Kevin Talley (DAATH, MISERY INDEX, CHIMAIRA), Barnes and guitarist Steve Swanson. CHIMAIRA guitarist Matt DeVries is handling bass duties on the road, but it not expected to become an official member of SIX FEET UNDER.

  21. Dutch female-fronted symphonic rock outfit DELAIN has set "We Are The Others" as the title of its third studio album, due next spring via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at various studios in Stockholm, Sweden with producer Jacob Hellner, renowned for his work with RAMMSTEIN and APOCALYPTICA, alongside the Epicentre team of Fredrik Thomander and Anders Wikström (SCORPIONS, BACKYARD BABIES).
  22. SOULFLY has set "Enslaved" as the title of its eighth album, due on March 13, 2012 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at Tallcat Studios in Phoenix, Arizona and was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, the seasoned knob twiddler behind some of the most notable bands in metal today, such as SHADOWS FALL, HATEBREED, THE RED CHORD and more. SOULFLY vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera also shared production duties. SOULFLY's current lineup features Max and guitar dynamo Marc Rizzo, with STATIC-X's Tony Campos taking up the bass. The lineup is rounded out by drummer David Kinkade (BORKNAGAR, ARSIS, MALEVOLENT CREATION), a new-school, extreme skinsman whose brutality behind the kit brings a new flavor to the band. While many groups barely make it to a third album, SOULFLY is still going strong two decades deep. 2012 also marks the band's 15th anniversary of making a tribally-influenced metallic racket and what better way to celebrate than with a new record? The album will be released via longtime label Roadrunner, which has been SOULFLY's home for the course of its career. The label has also been Cavalera's home for the duration of his career, which began in the '80s as a member of SEPULTURA, who essentially rewrote the rules of heavy music when they arrived on the scene; Max continues to do the same today. As is customary with SOULFLY, the band will introduce some new and unexpected elements into the mix, including a guest violinist. SOULFLY also collaborates with two metal veterans: Dez Fafara of DEVILDRIVER and Travis Ryan of CATTLE DECAPITATION. With Dez and Max sharing a longtime connection through the Roadrunner family, it was only a matter of time before Fafara guested on a SOULFLY album. Cavalera wrote a song, "Revengeance", about his slain stepson Dana Wells, whose death was the catalyst for the creation of SOULFLY. He partners with his sons Igor and Richie on vocals, while his other son Zyon plays drums. It is the first time Max has performed with three of his sons. The band tracked 14 songs, 11 of which will be on the record, with the other three being made available for the special edition. Track titles are as follows: * Resistance * World Scum * Intervention * Gladiator * Legions * American Steel * Redemption Of Man By God * Treachery * Plata O Plomo * Revengeance * Chains * Slave * Bastards * Soulfly VIII Travis Ryan — who was a replacement for SOULFLY's original choice, OCEANO's Adam Warren — recorded his portion of the vocals at Frick'in Studios in San Marcos, California with engineer Dan Frick. Commented Ryan: "It's an honor to receive a call from someone you had pictures of on your wall as a kid asking you to be on a new album of theirs. I literally had a picture of Max [Cavalera, SOULFLY mainman] and Gloria [Max's wife and manager] holding [Gloria's son] Richie in her arms that I ripped out of a copy of Metal Maniacs on my wall when I was 15 or 16. Now they're asking for my artistic hand in one of their creations; [it] just doesn't get much more surreal than that. Very honored and the song is very 'death metal-ish' and completely crushes. Happy to be a part of it!" Zeuss stated about Travis' contribution, "The vocals fucking rule!!!! Fits the song perfect… Very refreshing for me to hear these days."
  23. CIRCLE II CIRCLE, the band led by former SAVATAGE frontman Zak Stevens, has parted ways with guitarist Rollie Feldmann and drummer Johnny Osborn and has replaced them with Andy Lee and Jayson Moore, respectively. Commented the group: "CIRCLE II CIRCLE would like to announce the return of guitarist Andy Lee to our full-time lineup after a leave-of-absence from touring this year. CIRCLE II CIRCLE is also announcing the addition of our new drummer Jayson Moore. Jayson shares quite the musical history with Zak Stevens while they were growing up and he performed alongside Zak in the drum line at Brookland-Cayce High School in West Columbia, South Carolina. "The CIRCLE II CIRCLE lineup (Zak Stevens - vocals, Mitch Stewart - bass/vocals, Andy Lee - guitars/vocals, and Jayson Moore - drums) is ready to go and will be featured at all live shows going forward and on the new CIRCLE II CIRCLE album, 'Seasons Will Fall', to be released in spring/summer 2012. "Consequently, this means the departures of guitarist Rollie Feldmann and drummer Johnny Osborn from the lineup. "We want to wish Rollie and Johnny all the best in their future endeavors and successes and we thank them for all the hard work they put into CIRCLE II CIRCLE while they were with us. Onward... "We currently have 12 songs for the new CD. All of the bass and drum tracks are complete and recording will resume after Christmas."
