Regarding his collaboration with TESTAMENT, Chris told Gun Shy Assassin, "They just sent me the first song, so we're going to do that while we're set up [at a studio in New York City recording the new LAMB OF GOD album]. I haven't had time to sit down and learn the tune, but they have programmed drums on it. I guess Gene is doing the rest of the record, which is amazing. When I first started talking to Eric [Peterson, TESTAMENT guitarist], they had me going out there, sitting with them, and figuring out the whole thing. They said they might do it with Gene, and I was like, 'If you can get Gene, don't bother with me. He's the king.'" Haha, iskren čovek.

Drummer Asgeir Mickelson of Norwegian progressive metallers SPIRAL ARCHITECT has issued the following update on the band's current status: "Some time ago Blabbermouth picked up 'news' that we were working on a new album. Fact is that we’ve been doing that since we recorded the last album in 1998/1999. However, not very often… We got lots of material but since most of it is old by now we’ll have to see what survives. We also need to write a lot of new stuff. Unfortunately, the album is still years from release."

Q. Which QR album is the worst in their career? A. Their next one.

New album: I know we are being a bitch with nothing giving any solid news regarding this new one but we do have the feeling that most of the bands give it all in the net, spoiling any possible romance, seduction game which is essential for a Moonspell record. so it's not that we don't want to be generous to our fans, it's just that we don't want to loose any impact on this one as we believe it to be one of the finest jewels we ever wrote. Nevertheless, there's some stuff I can say about the album. It's initials are AN and we refer to it as such while working on it. Revealing the title now would be premature. The record is coming out on 2012 (first trimester) but through which label we still do not know as we are now an unsigned band, financing from our own pocket our new album and all that it involves. We will produce the album ourselves but we are working with two producers and friends that are helping out the final shape of the Album. One is Benny Richter, who works with bands such as Caliban but whose musical vision and classical training and fresh ideas (he is quite younger than us, a first time for us eheh) are bringing a great added atmosphere and freshness into the record. We are working with Benny for two and a half years now and in July we will have a final round at the ludus for the more atmospheric songs of the album. The other person is already well-known for us, he is Tue Madsen, who worked with us in Under Satanae and Night Eternal. The drums for AN are already recorded at the Antfarm studios in Aarhus, Denmark and Tue is coming to Portugal to setup the rest of the instruments and he will be our choice to mix the album which will only happen in September. The record is tentatively divided in two parts (AN/OW) and drums' second session will happen very soon in Berlin, Germany. The rest of the record will be done in Portugal, at our own revamped Inferno Studios, and the mixes will be Antfarm as stated. We will keep you informed about this one trying not to loose any of its original secrecy, mysticism and strength. This is a very important card for Moonspell and all our fans and we will not give hand and spoil the mood. Anyway, here's some pics from the AN drum session in Denmark's finest studio: Antfarm. Bassist Rex Brown has confirmed that he is no longer a member of DOWN. Speaking to Patrick Musumeche of 8countnews.com over the weekend, he said, "I'm officially out of the band. Things came to a head and they're better off doing what they're doing. They've got Patrick Bruders [from CROWBAR] playing bass and I kind of lost my passion after a while. There were some other problems that we had to address and it just turned out better that we just parted ways."

Tate: Yeah, we began the writing sessions for the next record about a month ago. We kind of go from one project to the next fairly rapidly. In today's world, you kind of have to keep coming up with new stuff, so we like that. It's hard to keep us out of the studio actually. (laughs) Odmah stiže sledeće govno.

The unprecedented launch, in a distribution partnership with Megaforce Records (MRI), features a broad range of music that bridges more than one head-thumping genre - a familiar theme that true Hank3 fans have embraced for years. Ghost to a Ghost/Guttertown, a double-album set, is a straight-shooting country collection, flavored with Hank3's trademark hellbilly sound, and heavily weighted with Cajun influence (especially on Guttertown) and an ambient, lonesome mood - and a few very special guests. Two more releases are Attention Deficit Domination and 3 Bar Ranch Cattle Callin - intensely metal-driven records on which Hank3 plays all instruments. Attention Deficit Domination is a pressure-dropping, doom rock statement that has been anticipated by his hardcore fans for years, and Cattle Callin explores a new mind-bending "Cattle Core" sound, featuring Hank3's speed metal woven in and around actual cattle auctioneering. All three projects were recorded at The Haunted Ranch, Hank3's home and studio that lies on the outskirts of Nashville - a fitting place since the town has never really known what to do with this grandson of the American icon. He finally parted ways with Curb Records January 1. "I have musical freedom. I'm able to say 'Here's my record' and I don't have to go through a million different channels just to put out a song," he says. "It's all me now." Hank3 wrote the lion's share of the songs that appear on the 41-track Ghost to a Ghost. The players are Andy Gibson on steel guitar and banjo, who also aided in its recording, David McElfresh on fiddle and mandolin, Zach Shedd on standup bass, Daniel Mason on banjo, super-picker Johnny Hiland on guitar, Billy Contreras on fiddle, and Rory Hoffman on accordion. Guest appearances include the mythical Tom Waits on the haunted "Fadin Moon" from Guttertown and on the Ghost to a Ghost title track, Alan King of Hellstomper, Les Claypool of Primus fame and beyond, Dave Sherman, Troy Medlin and Hank3's dog, Trooper. Cuts such as "Guttertown," "Ridin The Wave," and "The Devil's Movin In" on Ghost to A Ghost, and "Goin to Guttertown," "The Low Line," and "I'll Save My Tears" on Guttertown highlight both the excellent musicianship on the records, and Hank3's unmistakable, confident vocals. Attention Deficit Domination allows the listener into Hank3's crunching, metal world of the heavy and the slow, complete with his renowned, fundamental percussion. The nine tracks hardly allow you to get up from the floor. With songs such as "I Feel Sacrificed" and the tormented "Livin Beyond Doom," Hank3 works a ground somewhere between devastation and high theatre. "Both A.D.D. and Cattle Callin are very intense. It's very manic," Hank3 says. "It's hard to follow, even for the guys I play with. I'm playing everything on these two. It's very complex." There are 23 tracks on Cattle Callin, featuring Hank3's driving, formidable guitar attack, with instrumentation build around the auctioneering and, in some cases, his own higherregister vocal treatment laid over the top. Metal fans will notice some tongue-in-cheek humor with titles such as "Heavy Cattle" and "Angus of Death." Also, fans of bluegrass will love the banjo-driven "Cattle Callin Lonesome Blues," featuring Mason. "I was raised around it [cattle auctioneering] and it's pretty amazing how fast these guys are," Hank3 says. "Hip-hop has looped auctioneers. Bluegrass has messed around with it a little bit. This has never been done in the heavy metal world." The September release of all three projects represents a new birth for Hank3, and he's happy to have the chance. "Megaforce Records has helped me with my vision to do something that's never been done before," he says. "They're handling my distribution, and I wanted to flood the market and do everything different. I wanted to come out of the gate strong. Realno, ljudi koji pljuju po Ghost-u i nazivaju ih prenahajpovanim smaraju daleko više od ovih koji ih hajpuju. Začepite i uživajte u muzici ili preskočite ako vam se ne sviđa, ffs. Razumem ja da bi svako voleo da se hajpuje njegov omiljeni bend ali jebem mu mater više.

Koliko jako. Mada nisam ljubitelj tih ogromnih tatua, ali ipak...

Da, državi u kojoj većina poznatih metal bendova ne može da skupi ni 300 ljudi na koncertima stvarno treba festival. Nismo li već pričali o ovome 1000 puta?
