meni je WoD dobra dok ne stigne onaj deo "paradigma broken stigma" to mi bas cringe, mogli su bez tog celog dela. Coma mi je isto bezveze pesma. Previse je by the book Leprous i "feel the heat, no retreat" je bas cringy tekst, kao neki thrash bend najgori. Malina mi ok ali cesto preskocim, onu poslenju skoro uvek preskocim ali mi je Bonneville odlicna od tih sporih.

pa to, ima dovoljno varijacije, ima pop pesmica, (Stuck, From the Flame), ima nesto sto pomalo i zalici na Bilateral (Leashes, Weight of Disaster), i ima klasicnih Leprous stvari (Captive, Illuminate, Mirage, Coma) ime mirnih ambijentalnih (Bonneville, Malina, The Last Milestone). Zbog toga je i u redovno rotaciji.

I am so happy to announce that I have signed a deal with InsideOutMusic for my solo project and the debut album “What The Water Wants”. I want to thank InsideOutMusic for giving me the opportunity to record and share this album with the world. For the last year I have been writing with Mike Abdow, (Fates Warning touring guitarist), guitarist/bassist Tony Hernando (Lords Of Black) and my longtime friend Craig Anderson (Ignite) on drums. The album was mixed by Simone Mularoni (Rhapsody, Michael Romeo, DGM, etc.), who worked tirelessly with me to give this project the great sound we felt it deserved. I have had the ideas for a while but never had the time to actually sit down and write. But since Fates Warning had taken a break from writing and touring I finally had the chance to assemble the album. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did writing and recording it!” Ray Alder’s first solo album for the label is entitled “What The Water Wants” and includes 10 melodic and versatile songs created with assistance from guitarists Mike Abdow (Fates Warning touring member) and Tony Hernando (Lords Of Black) as well as drummer Craig Anderson (Ignite, Crescent Shield). This video is a blatant nerd-out, an animation inspired by a few classic video games, particularly Final Fantasy 2 (SNES, 1988, a.k.a. Final Fantasy 4). In the recent past when I’ve been asked to reflect on Kayo Dot’s oeuvre, I’ve found a very apt analogy in Final Fantasy overworld maps, with each of our records being able to be thought of as different lands (Coffins on Io as the moon, Hubardo as the town of Ornac, Coyote as the underworld, etc). Because of Blasphemy’s lyrical content and themes, and that I’ve always been interested in playing with animation, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for such a video. And I was deliberately avoiding writing much music this year while I waited for the album to drop, so I had some time to try my hand at making some visual art. Mainly I did this to tickle myself. In this part of the story, our characters have finally reached their X-marked spot and haul their terrible treasure up from the depths of the sea.
