This Carcass audio was retrieved from the priceless Heavy Metal Rarities forum. The individual who shared this recording has the actual hand-labeled cassette it came from, but does not know its origins. 1987 was written as a year on the tape sleeve, and if accurate then this could have been recorded within that December or possibly earlier. I suspect it is at least part of a genuine demo for the album Reek of Putrefaction. Excess silence between tracks remains as originally found. The session of Carcass is weird thing, it sounds like raw mix of Reek of Putrefaction. But it isnt it -some stuff and vocal arrangements are different.
