German power metallers RAGE filmed their recent show in St. Petersburg, Russia in front of 15,000 fans for an upcoming live DVD, tentatively due in early 2007 via Nuclear Blast. According to a posting on the band's official web site, the band used a "specially designed laser and light show" during the concert and performed highlights from their latest CD, "Speak of the Dead", along with selections from their earlier albums which were not covered on their previous DVD. The band is currently editing and mixing the footage and is in the process of compiling "some interesting bonus material," to be included on the set.

Allentown, Pennsylvania's 91.7 FM WMUH radio station has announced that Ernie Carletti, formerly of SLIKHELVETIKA, has been added as the second guitarist for ICED EARTH. He was allegedly auditioned just over a week ago by ICED EARTH mainman Jon Schaffer and was accepted as a member. At press time, there has been no official confirmation from the band regarding Carletti's addition to the group. According to Carletti's official bio on ErnieCarletti.com, Ernie is "a master guitarist who not only performs live, but is a renowned instructor residing in Maryland, USA and instructing in diverse performance styles including classical, rock, jazz and metal. "Mastering his craft beyond 18 years and teaching in excess of 15, Ernie's skills are currently in demand by more than 100 students weekly in the Elkton, MD and Wilmington, DE areas. In addition to personal student sessions, Ernie offers email; video and member download instruction to students world-wide via ErnieCarletti.com. "In 2005, Ernie struck a deal with famed guitar luthier Bernie Rico Jr. to produce and market two Carletti signature guitar models, the 'Dr. Jekyll', and the 'Mr. Hyde'. Swedish/German extreme metallers ARCH ENEMY will release their first DVD, "Live Apocalypse", on August 8 via Century Media (July 24 in Europe). The disc is "chock-full of phenomenal live footage, in-depth interviews and promotional video clips," according to a press release. Commented guitarist Mike Amott: "The 'Live Apocalypse' DVD is now finally complete. This shaped up to be an ultra cool two-disc affair, and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. The main show is from The Forum in London, U.K. (December '04), and we also have footage from Manchester, U.K. in December '05 (there'll be three songs included from that). Uzeo sam juche da slusham opet album i evo danas ga slusham vec 4-5 put u zadnja dva dana. Mozda mi je nakon onog losheg Firewinda josh vishe poraso u ushima. Josh uvek stjim pri tome da im je Liapakis glavni adut, ali riffovi su ovde izvrsni i ima headbanga kolko ocesh + zaraznosti..ne znam koji mi je kurac bio sa onim postom gore.. MASTER OF SINS
