Meni je novi album totalno razocharenje!!! Pre svega..Gus G je napustio sve zive bendove kako bi se posvetio FIREWINDu, a izbacio je sigurno svoj najaslbiji album ikada! Pre svega mekano, previshe mekano, josh malo da je mekanije pomislio bih da je bend iz Italije..ali je dogurao samo do shvedske mekoce. Za "Forged By Fire" sam mislio da ima slabiji songwriting od albuma pre njega ali i to je bila albumchina, e ovde je songwriting upola slabiji. Klavijatura je jednosta previshe. I najveci minus vokal. Steta sto je otishao Somapala, jer je imao ubica vokal i super je legao uz tvrdji zvuk Firewinda..ali sve se promenilo..i otishlo u kurac.

Meni je to jedan omiljenih "zvukova"! Destroyer 666, Rsie Hell(raniji), Gospel OF The Horns, Desaster... A i volim vishe kada black bendovi ubace malo thrash shmeka u svoje albume jer tada postaje daleko slushljivije(u nekim sluchajevima), Cirith Gorgor npr.. Sve u svemu, it can be very powerful, if done right.

I think that SATYRICON has moved in the direction that is right for us and we can do the heaviest work. Each song represents a main idea that is supposed to be permeating all of the different parts that makes up the respective songs. Doing something like that calls for simplicity and rigidity, but also makes the songs come true as a very wholesome unit with power and strong identity. There is no doubt in our mind that this is the right way of doing it. When I listen to the songs now, I feel how nice the energy flows through the songs; I understand it was a very wise move indeed. NEVERMORE frontman Warrel Dane is collaborating with former SOILWORK guitarist Peter Wichers on material for Dane's first solo album. The CD is expected to include an appearance by Warrel's former SANCTUARY (pre-NEVERMORE) bandmate Dave Budbill (currently in ZEROCREEP) on drums.
