Swedish death/thrashers RAISE HELL will release their fourth album, "City of the Damned", on May 19 via Black Lodge Records. The CD was recorded at Sheepvalley Productions in Stockholm and will be available in both standard jewel case and digipack formats. In other news, RAISE HELL will release a new 7" single, "To the Gallows", on March 31. A release party fpr the single, which also features the track "Open Your Mind", will be held on March 31 at Club Rocks in Stockholm, Sweden. Konachno!

VIRGIN STEELE in Spain by Carlos Lorca Virgin Steele performed an amazing concert Friday evening at the Atarfe Vega Rock Festival in Spain! They wailed like the TRUE METAL KINGS they are, and all without their drummer! Drummer Frank Gilchriest had some confusion with flight arrangements, and was unable to arrive on time for their set, but the band played on. The audience more than made up for the percussion, by clapping rhythmically and chanting throughout the gig! Singer David DeFeis also did some mighty pounding on the wooden stage, with some serious boots! It was a wild, aggressive performance that only a top notch, highly seasoned group could pull out of themselves. I had a chance to ask David a few questions after the concert. Please read on: Carlos Lorca: David what happened with your drummer? David: I don't know all the details as I have not yet spoken to Frank, but I was told that there was some kind of confusion with his plane, and that he would not arrive by the time we were to perform this evening. I am sure that he is very, very upset that he could not be here with us tonight! He was really looking forward to this show. Carlos Lorca: What did you do when you heard this news? David: At first I thought it was some kind of joke, but when I found out that it actually was true, I went into action. I received the information that he would not make the concert at 3:00 this afternoon, just as we were planning to leave the hotel to come here. We were scheduled to perform at 6:20, so we had to decide very quickly what to do. I called the rest of the group and told them to meet me in my room, so that we could plan an alternate set to perform. We met, discussed and threw ideas around for about 30 minutes, and then drove off to do the gig. Carlos Lorca: How do you think the concert went? I mean from my point of view it was incredible. You even managed to get an encore, which is a rare thing on a festival, with the time factor, and all the pressure to keep the bands moving along. And I have to say, the band sounded so confident, and your voice sounded so strong and high! David: Thank you Carlos. I think it went quite well. The crowd seemed to really enjoy it, and they were really very supportive, which gave us confidence to continue and to deliver the goods. Carlos Lorca: I spoke to many fans who said they were very happy that you played. They thought you would cancel under such circumstances. David: Some bands might have cancelled, but not us. We go on regardless. We did not want to disappoint anyone. We came to perform, and that is what we did. It was a magic, by the seat of your pants kind of show. I really enjoyed it. Carlos Lorca: Any last words for the Spanish fans? David: Yes. We thank you all for your tremendous show of faith, heart, honor and incredibly loud support! Ako "Endorama" nije neka vrsat experimenta onda ne znam sta je. Mile uglavnom pishe socijal-politichke-ratne tekstove ali svakako nisu monotoni i ponavljachki.

Pa jest stvarno JEdnog dana ima da ubde objavljena cena karte i bice "E pa ne znam sad bas...tebao sam ranije da saznam cenu..".

Pa pazi, ti si prvo rekao da izdaju isti album od Come pa na dalje..daleko od toga..kreator je u 90tima bukvalno "lutao". Imash Renewal sa nekim glupim industrial uplivima i totalno promashen album ispao, zatim "preagresivni" "Cause", "Outcast" koji je bio neka blaga varijanta thrash metala..i onda totalno iznenadjenje u stilu Endorame, koji iako nema veze sa thrashom je iskreno fantastichan album. "VR" je odlichan thrash album dodushe mozda je stvar ukusa sto se tebi ne svidja, a "Enemy Of God" je jedna moderna thrash albumchina i jedan od najboljih(ako ne i THE najbolji) za sada u deceniji.

Zashto majku mu izdaje solo materijal kad, ako vec ne moze da snima MF album, ne radi tosa FoE..?

SODOM frontman Thomas "Tom Angelripper" Such has slammed CELTIC FROST and VENOM for their comeback attempts, claiming that neither band is worthy of the attention being given to them by the metal media and fans alike. In a brand-new interview with the German webzine Terrorverlag, Angelripper had the following to say when asked about both bands' upcoming albums and touring plans (translated from German): On CELTIC FROST: "I don't know what to think about that. The last few albums they released as CELTIC FROST were crap. OK, I'm sure that they are making a great [new] album, but I can't really trust them, coming back after all these years. . . Now they're getting a huge push, playing as headliners at the Wacken Open Air and Rock Hard Open Air festivals. We in SODOM have been playing and working our asses off non-stop for 25 years and we've never been invited to play the Rock Hard Festival! That really sucks! Maybe we should take a break for 15 years and then come back in wheelchairs. I'm sure then we would get a chance to play at some of those festivals!" Dutch death metallers GOD DETHRONED have posted the following message on their official web site: "BOLT THROWER asked us to be their direct support act on their second leg of the 'Those Still Loyal' tour. Although we basically haven't got any time left due to the writing process of our new album, we are very honored to support the warmasters of death metal. So we're gonna be there for the Scottish, English, Irish, Dutch and some of the German shows of the tour.
