Norwegian black metallers MAYHEM have set "Ordo Ab Chao" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in late 2005/early 2006 via Season of Mist. The band's upcoming CD will mark their first release with vocalist Attila Csihar (TORMENTOR, ABORYM) since their 1993 album, "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas". According to TheHighwayStar.com, DEEP PURPLE have set the tentative track listing for their new album, "Rapture of the Deep", due on October 21 via Edel Records. DEEP PURPLE spent five weeks at a Los Angeles studio earlier this year recording the follow-up to 2003's "Bananas" with producer Mike Bradford. The album is described by keyboardist Don Airey as "a lot heavier" than "Bananas". "We recorded it in the same studio that use to be used by KORN, and it's got a wonderful sound," Airey said. "It's got a real, immediate drum and organ sound. I was really happy working in there." "Rapture of the Deep" track listing: 01. Back to Back 02. Before Time Began 03. Clearly Quite Absurd 04.
