ja sam mislio da je metallica svirala mesa boogie od load albuma, da crni nije sniman sa mb...mozda gresim

Nije ni bitno, cisto kao kuriozitet: Metallica snima studijske albume od starta na Mesa Boogie pojacalima (i dan danas takodje). U principu, masina koja im je donela onaj njihov ton iz prve i druge polovine 80-tih je Mark II/C+. Isti je svirao i John Petrucci na prvih 3-4 Dream Theater albuma.

 

P.S. Naravno, u sve to pumpaju odabrani magneti bez kojih nema nista od tog zvuka.

overseen by Matt Masciandaro. James guitars are

neck-through-body constructed. They mainly have maple necks

and mahogany bodies. All of the ESP guitars have rosewood

fretboards except for the "Black Album" guitars which are

Ebony. All hardware (tune-o-matic bridge, stop piece and

tuners) is black. There are Gibson style 3 way switches, and

2 volume controls (one for each pickup).

were on tour. The guitar was just finished. In fact, he had

to wait 2 hours for the glue on the nut to dry and for the

guitar to be setup and strung!

After the "... And Justice For All" tour, the guitar became

mostly a D-tuned guitar

This guitar was Kirk's original ESP MII. The headstock is

slightly different than his following ESPs, the flat part is

on the side of the headstock on this guitar, while the

following ones are flat at the top of the headstock. Also,

the skull inlays on this first ESP are oriented differently

than his other one. The skulls are up and down when the

guitar is in its stand, and his second one the skulls are up

and down when the guitar is actually being played.

This guitar now resides at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in

Cleveland Ohio.

consistant tone. These were essentially large road cases

housing a speaker cabinet, sound dampening and fixed positon

microphones (maybe: Senheiser 421s).

Kirk Hammett: "I used a Bradshaw because the mids were clean

and the low end sounded real percussive. The harmonic

distortion also sounded nice and dirty. For the highs we

used two Marshalls. We combined all the sounds and put the

Bradshaw pre-amp through a VHT power-amp. We put it all

through Marshall cabinets with 30-watt speakers and blended

all the room mikes. My sound is a lot thicker and punchier

than before, and I think it's better than ever. For the

majority of the leads on this album I used a third ESP

guitar. I also used my 1989 black Gibson Les Paul Custom.

For the clean sound, I used a '61 stock white Strat

[stratocaster] and a Fender blac- face Deluxe. I also used a

'53 Gibson ES-295 style, and an ESP Les Paul Junior with EMG

pickups."

For amplification, Hammett uses a Marshall JMP-1 preamp, and

a Mesa-Boogie Rectifier preamp into a Mesa-Boogie Strategy

400 Stereo power amp. Effects and preamp switching are

accomplished with a BRADSHAW RSB 18R Rack Switcher with a

remote pedal board. Kirk's tech, Justin Crew, uses the

pedalboard enabling Hammett to have free reign of the stage.

This also keeps the stage less cluttered due to the size of

the pedalboard.

Kirk's ESP guitars (unless otherwise noted):

Are built or overseen by Matt Masciandaro. Kirk's guitars

are maple neck-through-body designs with alder bodies. All

of the ESP guitars have rosewood fretboards. All hardware

(tune-o-matic bridges, stop piece, or Floyd Rose bridges and

arms, and tuners) is black. Most have Fender style 3 way

slot switches, 2 volume controls (one for each pickup) and 1

tone.

eto detaljna oprema, nije MB od pocetka. za ugovor sa mesom su dobili lepe pare. no nije ni toliko bitno icon_wink.gif

kad rekoh, od starta, rekoh to u kontekstu odgovora nekome gore navedenom ko je imao dilemu oko toga da li su poceli da koriste Boogie od Crnog albuma ili malo ranije (ili cak kasnije). Ne secam se tacno vise ni kad je izasao Crni album (1991?) ali su oni kao sto i sam vidis poceli da koriste Mark II/C+ sredinom 80-tih, kojeg tacno dana tesko je reci. Prvi II/C+ je izasao sa proizvodne trake tek negde u 83-oj i retko ko je tada uopste i svirao Boogie (sem Santane i nekih fusion likova).

 

Ubuduce cu pokusati da budem konkretniji. U svakom slucaju , mnoge legende kruze oko svega toga.

Interesuje me Marshall-ova glava Valvestate! Ima neke efekte tipa korus i sl. Interesuje me da li slignal prolazi kroz procesor (kapiram mora da postoji nekakav procesing za te efekte?!) cak i kada su svi ti efekti ugaseni?!?!

Cisto da znash da nijedno OZBILJNO pojacalo NEMA efekte bash zbog SINTETICKOG zvuka!To je to.Bolje razmisli pa probaj da nadjesh JCM800 ili neshto slicno u tom fazonu,bolje cesh proci,a i cena nije UOPSHTE visoka!

Na njoj svira kod nas Zafa i koristi je za solaze iskljucivo i ima perfektan zvuk!!!Rekao mi je da se ne proizvodi vishe i da bi on kupio josh dve da ima da se kupi,pa zato pitam vas da li neko ima ili poznaje nekoga ko ima i prodao bi tu pedalu?!?

ovo za efekte i ozbiljna pojacala se slazem, ali samo delimicno... nego, postoji tu mnogo veci problem a to je, kao i uvek, novac...! Svi bi mi voleli neko ozbiljno i skupo pojacali ali ne moze...

sta mislite,da li vredi uzeti Ibanez Prestige RG,tipa natural boja,neck through,mahagoni,prema ibanezovim specifikacijama drvo su birali eksperti i uzeli su ono najbolje mada ja bas i ne verujem.Gtr stajeoko 2000 dolara...mislim,nema se naravno para za to,ali me interesuje da li je neko svirao,iskustva itd...
