Policija je saopštila da se žena ubila u ranim jutarnjim satima, a njeno je telo pronašao Edin otac Fehim Osmić. Komšije su pozvali doktore koji su ženu prevezli u Medicinski centar u Brčkom. Portparol policije Halid Emkić novinarima je rekao: "Najverovatnije se radi o samoubistvu vešanjem. Telo se nalazi na Odeljenju patologije Medicinskog centra u Brčkom gde će se odlučiti ima li potrebe za obdukcijom kojom bi se utvrdio tačan uzrok i vreme smrti, " kazao je on. Meštani su novinarima potvrdili i kako je Azemina godinama imala psihičkih problema koji su, na žalost, kulminirali samoubistvom.
