"VadimVon's Ikon V is responsible for designing a new line of merchandise for Morbid Angel to be available throughout Europe this summer during the band's EuroFestival Tour. These designs will be available for general retail shortly after for the US and the rest of the world. Already being Morbid Angel's webmaster/artist for over a year, Ikon V considers this to be a great honor and yet another way to artistically compliment one of the bands that had such a great influence on VadimVon.

 

 

On another note, after an extensive visit to Tampa, Florida in April, Ikon V was recognized as the last remaining finalist from the entire Western hemisphere (US, Canada, Mexico, South America) to fill the spot of the new guitarist in Morbid Angel. Due to life circumstances, however, the spot ended up being filled by a European shredder whose name we are not in liberty to reveal yet, but whose band all of you are undoubtedly aware of. It is truly a great honor for Ikon V to be seen as the best that America had to offer by a truly iconic American death metal band. As the new Morbid Angel album drops, VadimVon will tour the US as supporting act.

Metal Hammer writer Joel McIver reports that the new guitarist in Florida death metal legends MORBID ANGEL is none other than ZYKLON's longtime axemeister Destructhor (a.k.a. Thor Anders Myhren).

 

Frontman David Vincent told Metal Hammer in a recent interview, "The hunt for another guitarist to play alongside Trey (Azagthoth, the band's primary songwriter) was long and difficult. Man, I tell you, we had tapes sent to us from all over the world from guys who wanted to play in our band, and many of them were extremely talented — but Thor was the right choice for us. He's a fantastic guitarist and fits right in with the band. Also, ZYKLON have supported MORBID ANGEL in the past, so the guys knew each other already."

Blessed are the Sick i Altars of Madness ce uvek za mene biti tu medju onim albumima u DM sceni koji se nalaze na tronu. Trey , gitarista Morbida, je jedan od meni najboljih gitarista, pa svaka pesma Morbida ima solo osim God of Emptiness. Jebeno rastura lik \m/ .

 

Nego nov ialbum Morbida ce se zvati Iblis the Great. In 2008, Sandoval told Music T.V. that the next album would most probably be entitled "Iblis the Great," which is Arabic for the primary devil (Satan).
