The long-running rumors were true, it seems.

David Vincent has confirmed that Pete Sandoval’s out of Morbid Angel.

Says Vincent:

“Pete’s no longer in Morbid Angel.”

OK then. Did that have anything to do with his slamming the approach Morbid took on the last album?

“Well, his whole way of life has changed. He’s in a different spot, and the spot that he’s in right now, Pete Sandoval and Morbid Angel are not compatible.”

How’s that?

“Well, he has found Jesus. You can see where the incompatibility comes from.”

Ah, good to know.
