Zar oni nisu predgrupa na koncertu Amon Amartha?

Onaj Time je najavljen jos za april,majke im ga...Moglo bi to malo brze.

Ma keva je bend...mnogo je jak..danas sam slusao i skroz se napalio!

we have booked Sonic Pump studios to mix the new album with Nino Laurenne in May 2007. The schedule for releasing the second album "Time" hasn´t been able to hold for many reasons and some of them has been really delaying and slowing down the recording process. And when the recording couldn´t finish in the schedule also the mixing had to be cancelled and re-scheduled. Jari is still working very hard to finish the album and to make the best possible second release for Wintersun.

 

The release date is now planned to be somewhere in August 2007 but I´ll promise that the wait will be worth it! We are very sorry for this delay! Have patience.

Jari pricase kako je hiper prodiktivan i kako planira da ima i drugih projekata a ono nigde ni glasa od coveka 2 godine!

Avgust 2007?! Zar to ne beshe trebalo pre da bude? Uff...ok..ochekujem dobar materijal, i napedak.

A do tad cemo da preslusavamo novi Ensi

Primeti se promena u zvuku Ensiferuma od kad je Jari otisao, a Wintersun ima cak i jaci zvuk od prethodnog Jari-evog benda.

 

Mnogo je daleko taj avgust bre :/

The following update comes from guitarist/vocalist Jari Mäenpää:

 

"The mix has been cancelled and the release of "Time" is delayed even more. I´m sorry to disappoint everyone...again, but the album is not gonna be released this year. And unfortunately Nino has the Sonic Pump Studios booked full for this year, so we might have to think of something else.

 

Reason for this delay is that, I´ve set the bar really high on this album, but my equipment aren´t even close what I need to work faster. I have to push the gear what I have to the limits to get the best out of them and I have to do a LOT of workarounds which is very time consuming. Then all the thousand technical problems added into the mix isn´t helping. Basically every piece of gear has been broken at one time or another during the making of this album, feels like there´s a curse. Takes ages to solve the problems and send the stuff back and forth making the warranty changes. All this has made me very frustrated and un-inspired. Hasn´t helped with my stress about the deadlines either, slowing me even more. I work the best when I´m happy and lots of times I haven´t been. It´s been the most difficult record to make in my life. The album is very huge, I don´t know if it´s gonna fit even in the 74 minutes of a CD. The track count is very high, about 200 tracks per song. So it´s almost like two albums in one (or three Slayer albums ). But I´m gonna finish this, no matter what.

 

Now some update of the album progress: All the drums, bass and all guitars (rhythms/melodys/solos and acoustics) has been recorded (probably some add ons will be recorded when the synths and vocals are done). Then I´ve pretty much finished with the intro, that I´ve decided to include on the album. Really atmospheric and huge with some magical Japanese influences. I´ve also started to compose and arrange the synths. I´m trying to avoid the basic (and boring) layering chord stuff and create something really cool to boost the magic of the songs into new dimensions. I haven´t been able to start singing yet, because my preamp and mike "died", but hopefully soon I can. There´s been a demand to know what is going on, so there we have it. Unfortunately the news ain´t always good.

Pa i nije bahs glupo izgovor. Ko zna sta lik sprema nesto bash progresivno cim mu oprema u tom studiu nije dovoljno "mocna", ako ako nek rade kolko i mtreba samo album da bude dobar ko ovaj prosli.

nisam cesto na ovom threadu, ali Wintersun przi, samo steta sto imaju samo jedan album...

Pa pričali su nešto već duže vreme, ali izgleda da nema ništa od toga

Album ce izaci,a kada,e to se ne zna,ali cim bude izasao ujuricu ga kako znam i umem!!!

Kao prvo, ne znam sta ova tema radi u ovom podforumu...

Kao drugo, ne znam zasto pojedinci, koji bez ikakve sumnje poseduju veliko znanje o metalu, moraju da komplikuju stvari tako sto bend stavljaju u milion podzanrova? Ok, naravno da nijedan bend ne moze da pripada striktno jednom zanru vec ima tu-i-tamo uticaje drugih ali mislim da su svrstavanja tipa 'insane Sweddish blackened death heroic power folk metal' (nije sa ovog foruma i nije o Wintersun-u, vec mi je zapalo negde za oko pa sam eto upamtio) totalno bezveze i nepotrebna... Wintersun je jednostavno viking metal, naravno, sa uticajima drugih zanrova ali mislim da je bezveze nabrajati sve zanrove...

 

Ja se pribojavam da nisu neki problemi u bendu

Ako si procitao na space-u kako je Jari opisao sebe dok je jos bio solista + prateci bend, to ne bi trebalo da te plasi XD

A ja mislim da je bezveze nazivati neki bend "viking" metalom, jer je to žanr koji uopšte nema određene muzičke karakteristike.

Nezahvalno je turati i Wintersun u neki zanr,ali kao bih morao,to moze biti samo power-prog.

novi album je trebao davno da izadje, ali zbog tehnickih problema u studiju (valjda im je sva oprema sprzena, a nisu imali kesa za drugi studio u tom momentu), pa je pomeren za jesen ove godine, tako da se iskreno nadam da cemo cuti jos jarija i ekipu, pa mozda navrate u nase krajeve...

da da....svi ce oni da navrate u nase krajeve.....

 

Nismo mi te srece.....
