Postovani bendovi,

 

Kao sto i sam naslov kaze, posle jednogodisnje pauze, Metal Battle, takmicenje za nastup na prestiznom i ujedno najvecem metal festivalu na svetu, Wackenu, se nastavlja 2009 godine.

Kao sto vec znate, sa takmicenja iz 2007 godine, pobednik se na Wackenu u okviru WET (Wacken Evolution Tent) stejdza bori sa metal battle pobednicima iz drugih zemalja za potpisivanje ugovora sa Armageddon Music. Prisustvovanje najznacajnijem dogadjaju u metal muzici, posmatranje priprema najvecih metal zvezda direktno u bekstejdzu, posmatranje postavke 2 ogromna Wacken main stejdza, uzivanje u muzici najboljih svetskih bendova su samo dodatni motiv za pobedu.

Kao i 2007, na takmicenju ce pravo ucesca imati svi bendovi koji nemaju inostrani ugovor, a sa podrucja su Srbije, BiH, Makedonije, Crne Gore ili Hrvatske. Konkretno, svirke-takmicenja u Srbiji odrzace se u beogradskom Living Room-u (SKC), s tim da cemo se zaista potruditi da deo takmicenja prebacimo u Novi Sad ili Kragujevac. Novina je, takodje, da ovaj put necete morati prijave slati postom, sve ce moci da se zavrsi elektronskim putem, tacnije, putem maila [email protected]

Prijavljivanje ce biti moguce do 10 marta, a prva svirka je 18. marta.

 

Takodje, ono sto je jako bitno naglasiti je, da, nazalost, nakon iskustva od pre 2 godine, kada je samim svirkama prisustvovao znatno mali broj ljudi, i kada smo zbog ovog takmicenja pretrpili prilican gubitak novca, necemo moci da bendu pobedniku obezbedimo troskove za put u Nemacku, medjutim, uprkos tome smatramo da je ipak u interesu bendova i uopste domace scene, da se takmicenje ipak odrzi, jer drugacije otici i nastupiti na Wackenu je maltene naucna fantastika za vecinu bendova sa ovih prostora.

Sangre Eterna is the five-piece band from Novi Sad, and ‘’Amor Vincit Omnia’’ is their first full-length album. Pitty they didn’t send us full promo copy, instead of four promo tracks, just to have the full preview of the album, but okay. What I can hear and say about it is the fact that the band is much influenced with modern gothic metal and blackish Cradle Of Filth heritage. Music is similar to COF 90’s works, but it contains much of the modern goth electrics, that makes them more than COF replicants. Compositions are nice and interesting, filled with melodic and classical elements, but also with aggression and dynamic fusions. Playing and technical skills of the musicians are on high level, so material sounds very intense and experienced. Guys are very talented, and they have much potential, ideas and knowledge to make good arrangements, so they have much of the chances to make good carrier outside their homeland. Only shitty part of the record is the cover-art, that looks very empty and shallow, what you can’t say about production work. Songs are talking about darkness, life beyond death and such…and combination of Serbian and English lyrics within the songs sound very cool…bad thing that this isn’t the full album promo, so the rate will exceed. But again, Sangre Eterna is something that no one of gothic nor modern black metal breed, shouldn’t miss. This is the band that promises. Full support!

It's been quite some time since the last time I enjoyed a melodic black metal release that much! The Serbian band SANGRE ETERNA has what it takes to climb their way up to the top and be placed amongst the best bands of the genre. "Amor Vincit Omnia", their debut album, is beautiful and mesmerizing having the ideal balance between the extreme and the melodic parts of their music! Their compositions are simply breathtaking and for that mainly to be held responsible are the magnificent keyboard parts that offer the songs majestic and gothic aesthetics, marrying perfectly the darkness and melancholy of their music with their more aggressive and violent side represented by the great black growls and the beautiful guitar riffs. There were moments I had the feeling I was listening to a movie soundtrack that's how imposing and beautiful this band's music is! The rhythm section is supporting the songs in a beautiful way varying from mid to faster tempos and the production is also another plus helping the songs' value elevate even further! "Amor Vincit Omnia" will surely remain in my CD player for a long time!
