banedeathmetal Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 DaggerSpawn - Suffering Upon The Throne Of Depravity Dobio album od Dace juce, do sada sam ga preslusao 2x. Quote
Arak Dai Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 Hvala care - znaci nam kritika puno, volim da cujem kakav utisak ostavlja ovo sve...

Speed_Dead Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 XAXA neki tajlandjani su nam poslali recenziju,al nikako ne umem da je prevedem cak ni preeko googl prevodioca:P Reviews By Herry SIC Sepertinya scene Serbia semakin menancapkan Taring Runcingnya dikancah Metal dunia, kali ini 5 anak muda asal kota Belgrade mencoba mengibarkan nama Daggerspawn untuk semakin meramaikan perkembangan Death Metal, setelah teken Kontrak kerjasama dengan Sevared/Butchered Records, band yang aktif sejak tahun 2005 ini untuk pertama kalinya melepaskan Amunisi terbarunya sekaligus perdana yang terkemas dalam Full Album. Setelah malang melintang melalui beberapa Rilisan sebelumnya berupa Demo, split serta DVD, akhirnya ditahun 2009 “Suffering Upon The Throne of Depravity “ menjadi langkah mantap mereka untuk melebarkan sayapnya. Karakter Musiknya masih terlalu Mudah ditebak. Permainan Drummer Nikola rasanya mengingatkan dengan gaya bermain Lee Harrison-nya Monstrosity dengan ketukan Hypersnare 1/32 yang ga terlalu speed, solo2 Gitarnya Lebih bergaya Trey Azagthoth-nya Morbid Angel serta Cannibal Corpse banget banyak menghiasi diaransemen lagunya. “Children of the Livid Sea “ masih ga jauh berbeda dengan “ Awakening “, Rasanya kalo Mendengar Karakter sound Vocalnya kita seperti diajak kembali ke Era Death Metal awal 90-an aja.solo2 gitar masih menghiasi setiap part2nya. “Decaying Box “ cuman sebuah Intro Ringan pengisi jeda sebelum masuk Track “I am the Thousand Plagues “ terasa sentuhan Aborted dipadu dengan Decapitated, hingga Track akhir “Children of the Livid Sea (Live) “ Daggerspawn masih dengan gesit menawarkan Part2 yang mengumbar Beat yang Death Metal Extreme abis.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It looks that the Serbian scene has something to offer to the metal world, this 5 young from city of Belgrade, are trying to put a name to the brisk development of Death Metal, after the signature of cooperation with the Sevared / Butchered Records. The band is active since 2005 and for the first time after few crosses through some form of previous label Demo, split DVD and, finally in 2009 "Suffering Upon The Throne of Depravity" a solid step to widen their wings. This album is a concept of maturation in time.Ok This album includes 11 numbers including the 3 stage recordings. Though this band combines elements of Old School Florida Death Metal, New School Death Brutal Technical Death Metal with their rather complex, the names of reference : Dying Fetus, cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Monstrosity, BrokenHope, Aborted, Vader, Decapitated, Defleshed, Vomitory, until Beheaded, all can try to find in progresive structure of Music which they create with a little touch here... Begins with the track "And the Slumber Ends" as a foreplay intro than with the "Awakening" - directly, feels the touch of Morbid Angel is combined with the Cannibal Corpse in style of the riffs and Vocals, like Dying Fetus, - Style and Guttural growl vocals each other cleanly envelop here. Characteristic music still too easy to guess. Drummer Nikola's play reminds the style of Lee Harrison (Monstrosity) with its pounding Hypersnare 1 / 32 which is too fast, more guitar solos styled like Trey Azagthoth of Morbid Angel /Corpse cannibal and decorate the many songs. "Children of the Livid Sea" is still far different from the "Awakening": I Hear the characteristic vocal caracter sound like we are invited back to the early Death Metal Era of the 90-s. - solo guitar still decorates the part ( of the songs ) "Decaying Box" intro presents a brief pause before entering the Track "I am the Thousand Plagues" - Aborted feel combined with a touch of Decapitated, until the end of the Track... Daggerspawn still offers nimble parts providing the beat of Extreme Death Metal sound. Perhaps this is something very great, after we feel somewhat saturated today with repetative Death Metal bands with a more modern touch, but Daggerspawn are trying to get back to the roots from where it all came. Cover comes with famous work of artist Jonzig which is expected to increase the Value Plus Sales in this album. Created with the touch of old Morbid Angel, CC, merging elements of Dying Fetus and Monstrosity. It still makes me too disappointing, that i dont have the original in my Collection for now... do not forget, i will also make reading Interview with Them and post it online. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote

Sgt.Splatter Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Evo preslusao sam album sinoc, konacno. Speed_Dead Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 Review: Suffering Upon the Throne of Depravity (reviewed by Larry Griffin) Daggerspawn are a Serbian band ripping out some old-school Death Metal. They have been knocking around for a few years now, churning out the sort of singles, demos and splits you'd expect from a young band, and here we finally get their debut album. It's a pretty short album at only about 35 minutes of real meat, plus three live cuts to pad it out, but in the realms of Death Metal that is fairly standard. This band is not breaking any molds, as their sound is pretty much a hybridization of the speed of old Morbid Angel and the sludgy melody of classic Bolt Thrower. Sure, it's not original, but I like it. Daggerspawn go after it with a lot of energy, wringing out twisted, evil riffs leavened with melodic hooks and chaotic leadwork. They are not techy or precise, going after a feral assault more than the clickety sterility of some ‘broootal' bands. Speaking of clickety, there is not any of that here, as the production is actually pretty damned good. They have a nice fat guitar sound and drums that sound like drums, and while you can hear everything, it's still dirty enough to be cool. There is some wastage here, as the first and fourth tracks are both atmospheric interludes without much point. But with slabs of Death Metal killing like "Children Of The Livid Sea" and "I Am The Thousand Plagues" I am prepared to forgive quite a bit of that. Daggerspawn are just getting started, and a debut album this enjoyable says good things about their future potential. This is an underground gem for all Death Metal fans to check out, as this is a band worth watching for. http://www.metalcrypt.com/ Quote

Speed_Dead Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) http://www.cosmosgaming.com/ Music: Daggerspawn: Suffering Upon The Throne of Depravity Our Take Hailing from Serbia, technical death metal band, Daggerspawn, formed in 2005. They released their debut demo in 2006, which, although similarly-titled, is not to be confused with their latest album. After playing around with a few split releases over the years, they finally released their debut album on Sevared/Butchered Records: Suffering Upon The Throne of Depravity. The introductory track, aptly-titled "And The Slumber Ends," is vastly different from the rest of the tracks; it is calm and full of atmospheric textures. Immediately following its abrupt end, the listener is violently torn from the aforementioned sleep, reanimated by the technical rampage that is "Awakening." The instrumentalists themselves are very skillful, not only in their dexterity and technicality, but also their songwriting, which enables them to properly execute very unconventional song structures. The beauty of this record is the fact that it seems to flow seamlessly. When there is silence, it feels beatmatched or balanced by symmetrical fades. These subtle things, such as the transition between "Awakening" and "Children of the Livid Scene," keep the listener attentive, as each track picks up where the other left off. This cohesiveness is complimented by the return of the ambiance of the opening track in "In the Bane and Enlightenment of Man," which brings the listener back to the occult theme of the album. At points, this quality works against the individuality of each song, as they meld together and sound very stylistically similar upon first listen. Obviously, like all albums, repeated listens can help each song grow and stand out, be it based on its structure, solos, or lyrics, but there is little variation. Another problematic aspect of the album is that it is barely 25 minutes long. To remedy this problem, the band included three bonus tracks at the end of the album. If you're looking for new material, look elsewhere, but these live takes are as raw as the rest of the album, proving that the band's brutality continues on the stage. For a debut album, this obviously sticks to the status quo. For what it is, Daggerspawn's Suffering Upon The Throne of Depravity is a solid effort and worth checking out for any serious or casual fan of death metal. http://www.myspace.com/officialdaggerspawn Nic Ross March 23, 2009 Edited March 25, 2009 by Speed_Dead Quote
