StarbreakeR Posted March 15, 2007 Report Share Posted March 15, 2007 Znaci Prince me oduvao iz stolice...album je stvarno skroz Skyclad, genijalni lyricsi(zar to i treba pominjati?), muzika je ludnica, bas Skyclad...da sam ga cuo u to vreme kada je nastajao, kada nije bilo toliko folk bendova ja mislim da bih bio jos vise fasciniran...muzika iz uma genija ne moze da omane... A plus sam konacno nabavio Emerald na Mp3(imao ga samo na kaseti od VIVE), znaci ko sto rece moj drug majka svih danasnjih folkeraja... Sve u svemu ovakav bend nastaje jednom za zivota... Ajd znaci sledeci na listi ti je bas taj ako se ne varam...bas me zanimaju tvoji utisci o njemu... O nazivu albuma "Folkemon" "The albums rather unusual title was thought up after one of the band members read in a newspaper that according to a survey more children recognised the Pokémon character Pikachu than the current Prime Minister. The theme is continued in the liner notes, with the band members listed, for example, as 'Folkémon trainers'." Al iskreno to za We haven't got a chance se ne secam heh... Dobar A kad vec spomenu Folkemona...lik na frontcoveru se zove FREAKACHU Hm...pa bre, ja mislim da sam par albuma preskocio sa "recenziranjem" jer me smorilo da monologiram na temi Anyway..taj EP me i nije nesto odusevio(Chance), ne rachunajuci ponovo snimane History Lessens, Penny.. najjace su mi Great Blow For A Day Job i POSTCARD FROM PLANET EARTH. Znachi kad chuh PFPE prvi put mislim da sam je to vece kasnije pustio jos nekih 15 puta minimum Jezivo dobra pesma.. a inaceh...preslusah sve od 'Clada...to je fakat..jedino sto cu da uzmem opet Answer MAchine uskoro..jer provalih skoro da se albuma skoro uopste ne secam.. Angelystor Posted March 25, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2007 "Answer Machine?" je definitivno najdepresivniji Skyclad album...i to preterano Pola pesama je bas na fazon "Postcard from planet earth"...dosta mracniji tekstovi..najjaca pesma je definately "Building A Ruin", veoma catchy numera, isto kao i Eirenarch..i pored njih kao najjacu bih izdvojio "Single Phial"..polubalada..al sa kakvim 'deadly' tekstom, hehe...s druge strane tu je "Helium" koja vec ima neki klasican Skyclad feeling i melodiju..al kanda suicidalni weird tekst..Tekstovi su nekako less black sto se ide kraju albuma..posebno perverzija "My Naked I", hehe..mlogo kul pesma: Like a spider with a fly upon her web - come wrap those legs around me. Deflower me - devour me, My veins aglow with blood like liquid fire. I'm a willing victim - gagged and bound down on your altar of seduction, Awaiting my destruction in the all consuming flames of raw desire. Martin ludak...sve u svemu solidan album..ali ne one of Skyclad's best...ona Thread of Nevermore npr baaas smara, sve u svemu, velika promena u odnosu na "Irrational Anthems"...I da dodam za kraj: Brought to our knees by the powers that maybe, Don't care if humanity lives or it dies. StarbreakeR Posted March 25, 2007 Report Share Posted March 25, 2007 (edited) E pa ja cu da bacim jedan novi review...nabavio sam Jig-A-Jig!!! 1.)Jig-a-Jig - Pesmica je instrumental i kombinuje neke delove iz irskih tradicionala i nekih njihovih rifova(penny dreadful npr.)...pesmica je ludnica za zezanje i pijanku... 2.)Mr.Malaprope & Co. - Veoma brza pesmica sa super bubnjevima...podseca po malo na Ten Little Kingdoms, ali je ipak malo sporija...ima ql delove i dobar tekst, koliko sam uspeo da razumem... 3.)They Think it is over(Well is it Now) - Mid tempo pesmica, ima neki jak heavy prizvuk, i ono super je 4.The Roman Wall Blues - Je ustvari pesma Ntrwb sa A Semblance of Normality, tako da necu da komentarisem s obzirom da sa tog albuma ne postoji losa pesma... Sve u svemu odusevljen sam...ocekivao sam neki EP koji ce da zvuci kao No Daylights...ali dobio sam nadprosecan Folk Heavy, a nista manje od 'Clada ne treba ni ocekivati...
