Sto jes' jes' njima najvise leze neke morbidarije i perverzije ali ne kao sto rade kanibali,previse bi debilno izgledalo :)

 

Po meni cof ima jedne od najboljih tekstova,opet kazem taj staroengleski je toliko suvoparan da i ne mozes da razumes sustinu toga sto peva

A decade ago, the black metal scene experienced a period of renaissance and reinvigoration. Emperor had just released the legendary Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk, Immortal was riding the wave of Blizzard Beasts, Dimmu Borgir were getting close to completing the blasphemous Spiritual Black Dimensions and the English lads of Cradle of Filth were about to experience a career breakthrough with Cruelty and the Beast. The speedy, ravaging concept record told the nefarious tale of Elizabeth Bathory, a Hungarian countess in the 16th Century who bathed in the blood of virgin girls to retain her youthful beauty.

 

Since then, Cradle of Filth have aged, and with the years they’ve matured, experimenting with tonality and tempo, traveling through various avenues of lyrical darkness, straying further and further from their roots, while keeping a taloned toe or two planted in the murky black metal mist from which they surfaced. And now, 10 years from the release of Cruelty, Cradle are about to play a Cruel trick… Actually, it’s more like a treat. The band’s yet-untitled, just completed disc is their fastest, heaviest offering since that milestone offering a decade ago. Like Cruelty, it’s a genuinely vampiric black metal concept record about a legendary serial killer from the 15th Century. This time, Cradle are chronicling the exploits of Gilles De Rais, a French nobleman who fought alongside Joan of Arc and accumulated great wealth before becoming a satanist, sexual deviant and a murderer.

 

Headbangersblog.com recently talked with Cradle of Filth frontman Dani “Filth” Davey about the sound of the album, why he decided to to tell the story of De Rais, the band’s new drummer Martin Skaroupka, recording in the country with producer Andy Sneap and upcoming tours with Gorgoroth and Satyricon. Davey also filled us in on the song her wrote for Dario Argento’s new horror film “Mother of Tears,” the horror-themed video he wants to do for the new record and the long-awaited history book he wrote with Gavin Baddeley “Gospel of Filth: A Bible of Decadence and Darkness,” which he hopes will be out by Halloween — around the time the new record drops.

Pa i nije toliko nerazumljiv nit' suvoparan. Al' jebiga, ja nisam merodavan, na faxu mi je inglijeshki bio drugi jezik. A sem toga, FONETSKI GLEDANO, lepshe zvuchi no ova nakaznost od saksonsko-normanskog.

Aha, i ti i ja znamo da od toga nema nishta. Cradle je sam sebi laku noc rekao 1999., i nema budjenja od onda. I ja sam se ponadao sa Midian-om i Thornography-jem, ali su na jednu dobru dolazile 5 loshih pesama. Uzhas. O Damnation/From the Cradle/Bitter necu ni da pricham... Albumi doslovce sa 1 ili 2 dobre pesme, i to diskutabilno dobre... Otkako su Nick Barker i Damien Gregori otishli, putanja im je silazna. Da se ne ogreshim o Lecter-a, odradio je on sjajan posao na Cruelty-ju, samo Dany-ju vec glas otish'o u kurac. Pre neki dan iz chistog smora uzeh da preslusham nanovo Principle (bilo je ili to, ili da po jubilarni 5000 put prelazim Heroje 3), i nekako me u'vati nostalgija... Setih se mog klincheceg primanja na Principle pesmu, na Crescendo pesmu, na Of Mist and Midnight Skies i na Summer Dying Fast, i zapitah se prosto, do koje mere mozhe moj nekada obozhavani CoF da potone dublje? Legendarni album V Empire necu ni da pominjem, samo cu da mu kaljam sjaj...

 

A shto se konceptualnosti tiche... Jebiga, meni je sve jedno. Ok, obracam ja pazhnju na tekstove, ali mi je mnogo bitnije da li muzika izaziva osecaj koji ochekujem od tog benda. Ako vrate atmosferu sa Cruelty-ja u svirku, shto se mene tiche, mogu da pevaju i o Ivici i Marici, I don't give a fuck. Astaroth, Dark Funeral i Marduk imaju ochaj zhivi od tekstova, Old Man's Child je za nijansu bolji, ali muzika je... Ufffff, kada se setim tih vecheri davnih u KST-u... Pa, neuporedivo bolja.

 

Nije da sad ja tvrdim kako se Dany prod'o, ima on svoje tripove a nije me zvao za menadzhera tako da me zabole, samo, govoreci sa stanovishta dugogodishnjeg fana (CoF i OMC su i zasluzhni za moj ulazak u Black Metal vode), NE VIDIM da ima potencijala da ponovi Cruelty, ni da ga makar priblizhno dostigne. Kamo lepe srece da greshim, radovalo bi me vishe nego ishta.

Ja ocekujem nesto dobro, i sto lici na oldschool, tj. bonus pesme za Thornography deluxe su to najavile, a sad jos i ovo...lik koji je radio intervju s Danijem je cuo neke pesme u izdavackoj kuci, i kaze da zvuce old skulasto...kako rece nekako, storming, blasting and brutal...

 

Btw, Midian je odlican album, nema pesma koja nevalja na njemu....

Pazi, bilo bi više nego lepo kada bi se gospon Lord Rehn pojavio na celom sledećem albumu, naravno na klavijaturama.

On je stvarno taletovan muzičar, i mogao bi vrhunsku muziku da napravi za takav album.Inače on je iz Abyssos-a, koji je isto tako negovao vampirski kult.

Mislim da je na novom album, i na onom Slobinom delux edišnu istog, svirao na nekim pesmama klavijature i to već zvuči u maniru ranijeg COF-a.

Uh, sad odmah idem da se drogiram sa Abyssos-om

E, da, i što ne naprave neku konceptualnu priču o GREJVU? Album da se zove BLOOD IS HIS NECTAR :twisted:

Meni je Damnation poslednji album za koji mogu da kazem da je cist black,ostalo je ispod prosecno proseravanje.E sad Deluxe Thornography definitivno najavljuje da bi sledeci album mogao da bude u starom fazonu.

 

Midian je savrsen album,stukturno drugacije odsviran ali je zato atmosfera na albumu jebeno dobra.Kad god slusam Midian imam utisak da se nalazim u beskrajnom tunelu koji prelazim kako se pesme menjaju i na kraju kad se ponadas da ces izadji kurac,toliko mi dobro probudi cula

... da su mu tekstovi prilicno teski za razumevanje,mahom zbog staroengleskog...

 

Kredla pishe svoju poeziju tipichnim viktorijanksim stilom, shto je zapravo moderan engleski.

 

Ovo je staroengleski:

Ja ocekujem nesto dobro, i sto lici na oldschool, tj. bonus pesme za Thornography deluxe su to najavile, a sad jos i ovo...lik koji je radio intervju s Danijem je cuo neke pesme u izdavackoj kuci, i kaze da zvuce old skulasto...kako rece nekako, storming, blasting and brutal...

 

Btw, Midian je odlican album, nema pesma koja nevalja na njemu....

 

Nazhalost, nisam preslushao deluxe, tako da cu morati da ti verujem na rech. A shto se Midian-a tiche, pa, ukusi se razlikuju. Npr, meni su Tortured Soul Asylum, Saffron's Curse i Death Magick for Adepts sranje, i to teshko. Previshe liche na jebeni gaythic.

 

Meni je Damnation poslednji album za koji mogu da kazem da je cist black,ostalo je ispod prosecno proseravanje.E sad Deluxe Thornography definitivno najavljuje da bi sledeci album mogao da bude u starom fazonu.

To shto si rekao za Midian ja kazhem za V Empire, samo shto mi on ne budi takav osecaj, vec vishe onaj u stilu Space Marines-a: "CLEANSE, PURGE, KILL!!!"

A za Damnation... Vidi moj komentar vezan za tri pesme sa Midian-a. Par pesama sa Dusk-a su mi smetale bash zbog tih gaythic upliva (A Gothic Romance: Red Roses for a Devil's Whore bi bio najbolji primer za to). Ne podnosim gaythic organski, radije bih slushao chak i progressive metal nego to.

@matatrta: to Heaven torn asunder? Pa meni nije loshe ni tako...

 

Cudi me da ce na turneju sa Satyricon, znam da ih je Satyr oko ''96 zesce pljuvao, cak i pretio batinama kad dodju u Norvesku... Dosta se toga promenilo izgleda.

Cekaj, ako ne volis gotik, kako onda uopste i slusas CoF, na svim albumima je prisutan, negde vise, negde manje...

I nisu ti tekstovi vazni?

Vrlo lako: postoje pesme Cradle-a koje ne liche TOLIKO na gaythic (Queen of Winter, Throned, Nocturnal Supremacy, Hosannas in Extremis, Desire for Violent Overture, da ne nabrajam dalje), i zato sam i zavoleo Cradle. Tekstovi jesu vazhni, ali ne toliko koliko vi potencirate. Bitnija mi je atmosfera koju pesma pravi i osecaj koji izaziva tokom slushanja. Deo o tome koji bendovi imaju ochaj tekstove i strava mjuzu pogledaj u perd-prethodnom postu.

I naravno da bih trilion puta radije slushao ZZ Top nego gaythic :D, ma bre, pre bih slushao i Drowning Pool nego gaythic. Nije ovo prozivka, vec samo moje mishljenje.

 

@A_D - nije kvazi nego kvalifikovana. A koleginica ima pravo.

U bre, bar ti nisi bukvalista, znash na shta sam mislio pod time. Ako pochnesh ti, ode topik u majchinu, jer ce se naci neko da potegne gramatichko\fonetske\fonetichke\morfoloshke aspekte Dany-jevih tekstova i... Bye, bye...

 

Da, izgubilo je char, nakon 65464145 preslushavanja, zgadili bi mi se i Astharoth i Old Man's Child. Lazhem, oni ne bi. :D

 

Koliko se ja secam, josh jesenas smo imali neki dil za pivo, pa nishta. Idemo na to pivo da prepevavamo Knedle :D

Sta ja znam,gothic najvise ubaciju na nymphetamine,thornography je u tom rangu.Damnation bas i nema elemenata gothica,raniji radovi u ponekoj pesmi ali samo delove,onda se nadje neki prepametan klinac i kaze to je gothic metal.jebo ti ja mater,sta je onda sirenia pop?

 

a kad ih pitas dal su culi pesmu so violently sick oni kazu to ne postoji

 

da ne pricam kako su me ubedjivali da unvoking the unclean i orgiastic pleasures foul nemaju ni d od death metal.old school naravno

 

a pritom su mislili da su to nazivi pesama sa principle :)

Zbog te pesme svaki gothichar se sada lozhi na Cradle.

Meni Cradle nikada nije bio neshto posebno.

Imidzh im je zheshce smeshan,a muzika onako fifti-fifti,i nisu black.

Al' Dani je gej samo takav.

Pa pazi, ja ih sad gotovo vishe i ne slusham, al kad sam bio 5 razred osnovne shkole lozio sam se na njihovu muziku ko lud...medjutim albumi koji su izashli posle Midiana, naterali su me da promenim mishljenje o njima...
