Original: Mnogo listova bosiljka, otprilike 3-4 pune šake, 100gr parmezana, šaka pinjola, 200cl maslinovog ulja (može i vergine i komina) Alternativa: Umesto pinjola koji su preskupi mogu da se koriste bademi, ili još bolje indijski oraščić . Falš: Umesto bosiljka ide neki zeleniš , na primer sveži spanać, koji sada očišćen košta 120din kilo na pijaci , što je prepuna kesetina. Umesto parmezana neki drugi rendani sir... Sve se ovo izblenda i metne u staklenu teglu. Pesto se koristi u pastama, može samo on da se koristi ili da se kombinuje sa bešamelom, aglio oglio sosom (beli luk i maslinovo ulje), može da se stavlja na picu, u sendviče... preukusan je . Imaš na kaleniću, ima na mojoj pijaci na B Kosi, ima u Tempu (ili beše Dis? jedan od ta dva tamo sam i kupila ove sad što imam začine)... bude i u Idei - bar bilo prošle godine, u Veru...
