metal guru Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Progressive je najdalje sto rok moze da ode, mozda naizgled ima bezgranicne mogucnosti, ali problem je u tome sto su najvece prednosti proga istovremeno i njegove najvece mane.. mislim da upravo zbog toga vecina prog bendova sa potencijalom uspe samo jednom ili u najboljem slucaju 2, 3 puta u svom naumu, jednostavno sam koncept koji smisle potpuno pojede muzicki plan; prog albumi su uvek hit or miss fazon, a cesto(ili najcesce) bude promasaj... ali svejedno, ja volim pretenciozne bendove i one koji rizikuju, zato uvek imam postovanje za njihova dela Ne shvatite me pogresno, prog mi je jedan od omiljenih a mozda i omiljeni pravac, ali uvek treba biti realan i imati odredjen kriticki osvrt. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ајлин Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Da kažem da se ne slažem do kraja sa tobom, ima izuzetnih bendova koji (skoro da i) nemaju "miss" album (ovo u zagradi zavisi od ukusa naravno). Najjača stana proga za mene je ta što se ne plaše da probaju različite stvari, pa makar "promašili". Upravo jedan od najvećih kvaliteta je taj što prog pnruža veoma mnogo različitih emocija, koje, baš kao i u životu, nisu uvek lepe i ne upuštaju se svi ljudi u eksploataciju takvih emocija (realno, ko hoće shiny happy slušaće Madonnu LAdy Gagu ili šta već a ne prog rock). Face Of Melinda Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Ajlin slazem se sa tobom to je sustina proga da uvek istrazuje i prevazilazi granice, kada pogledate i umetnike koji se bave prog rock-om to su ljudi koji na taj nacin i razmisljaju... meni omiljeni citat definicije prog rocka je dao Steven Wilson: "Sometimes you have to confront your own patterns and expectations of yourself and do away with things that you enjoy doing in order to move forward and keep evolving as a musician. In The Flesh Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Sve je to super,samo ja u danasnjoj prog muzici ne vidim 10 bendova koji nijesu zaglibili u dosadu,neinventivnost,koji sviraju ono sto je vec hiljadu puta odsvirano jos prije 30 godina,koji evoluiraju,istrazuju i cine sve to sto Ajlin i Wilson kazu ( hehe ). Ako i pokusaju da rade nesto novo,onda je to growl i blast beat (DT), pokusavaju da iskopaju upravo onaj zvuk i osjecaj 70-ih o kome sam pricao (PoS),ili prave prosjecne albume kao sto je The Incident. Ne znam da li sam cuo 15 prog albuma ove godine i nije mi uopste zao zbog toga. Face Of Melinda Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 I ta ti je na mestu... uzimam Stevena za primer (u maniji sam slusanja PT-a, trenutno ) on je na svom solo albumu naravno omogucio prog zvuk kombinujuci ga sa nekim noise i drone elementima, sto je naravno bila novina u odnosu na PT, opet album je u nekim recenzijama popio poprilicno lose kritike, mada imas ljude koji bi uzdigli i govno od doticnog kada bi se posrao to izproducirao i stavio na traziste, da prostite na recniku Opet tu su bendovi kao sto je Pink Floyd, skapirah da me oni nikada nece smoriti.
