PhideauxFan
This different cover for The Light sucks. But this DT collection is just wonderful. Yes, the cover of The Light is awful but the music is good. And Dream Theater was one of my favourite bands in the 90's. I'm gonna get it. Plus new Magma album and of course The Tangent. I'm sure those three are gonna be my top 3 for 2009. But, we'll see Yes, it worths it. And I will buy the new album of Parallel Or Ninety Degrees: Jitters with Andy Tillison. Yeah, I've heard new Po90 is great. Do you owe Guy Manning's new album "Number Ten"? It's good one, too.
PhideauxFan
Yeah, I've heard new Po90 is great. Do you owe Guy Manning's new album "Number Ten"? It's good one, too. I have got two tracks of the new Po90 on a compilation and they sound great. For Guy Manning, I don't like very much his music. And my 4 last orders in progressive music are: Anekdoten-Chapters (2 CD Best-of), Lunatic Soul, Quidam-Alone Together and The Pineapple Thief- 2 CD Best-of. AstralliS
I still have to get new Po90. Saw there's very nice package of Anekdoten albums and it's not too expensive, I think about ordering it. Btw, new The Tangent: http://torrents.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2441041

PhideauxFan
I put a picture of my progressive music colllection (more than 400 CDs) and I have chosen to listen to Seven Reizh: Samsâra (France) on the right. Necromortum
EnKi
Yeah...and "Strinkadenn Ys" is on the left like guarding your HUGE collection BTW: I'm listening to Primordial Ocean by Versus X right now. Have you heard them by any chance? They're good! German VERSUS X plays symphonic and intricate progressive rock in the vein of the best bands of the seventies (KING CRIMSON, ELP, VDGG, .) with influences of classical music, heavy rock, jazz-rock and the music of contemporary classical composers. The songs are lenghty with fantastic arrangements and great musicianship.
AstralliS
Od tog Versus X-a, imam samo Disturbance album, čini mi se da ima 3 pesme na istom. Ne bi bilo loše da čujem i ostale albume.
PhideauxFan
This looks huge Yes! And just imagine how it could be when I had 800 albums 5 years ago. Yeah...and "Strinkadenn Ys" is on the left like guarding your HUGE collection BTW: I'm listening to Primordial Ocean by Versus X right now. Have you heard them by any chance? They're good! You are right: it is the first album of Seven Reizh on the left of the picture. And I know Versus X: I have got two of their older CDs. I often read Prog-résiste and Big Bang Magazine (in french) to discover new progressive music. For Prog-résiste, you have free mp3 in "The Essentials". http://www.progresiste.com/index.php http://www.bigbangmag.com/
AstralliS
Yes! And just imagine how it could be when I had 800 albums 5 years ago. Umm... Well what happened with those albums? I saw cover of 6th isue with Jethro Tull in it, looks really awesome Btw, did you listen to 3rd World Electric, those project of Jonas Reingold and Roine Stolt (well, of course Roine Stolt)? I resold 400 albums of my collection because I didn't like them anymore. I haven't got any Classic Rock Magazine but it is often mentionned in the press review of Big Bang Magazine. And I am not a big fan of Stolt's music so I don't listen to his multiple projects.
AstralliS
Could you mention some of the albums you sold? Btw, why the hell people dislike Stolt's projects? I faced with so many "dislikes" towards his projects and I have to admit that I'm surprised with that fact.

I faced with so many "dislikes" towards his projects and I have to admit that I'm surprised with that fact. I sold albums of The Flower Kings, Mostly Autumn, Everon, ... For Roine Stolt, I don't really like his voice and his albums are often too long for me. On MySpace, I also listened to his project Agents Of Mercy and it wasn't my cup of tea. But I admit that he is a good musician and what I dislike doesn't mean that it is bad. It is only my opinion. Iona (UK). AstralliS
I sold albums of The Flower Kings, Mostly Autumn, Everon, ... I'd be interested for them For Roine Stolt, I don't really like his voice and his albums are often too long for me. On MySpace, I also listened to his project Agents Of Mercy and it wasn't my cup of tea. But I admit that he is a good musician and what I dislike doesn't mean that it is bad. It is only my opinion. I guess that my patience comes to surface when I listen to music, especially longer albums. I liked Agents of Mercy, it just fits with me very well. And Nad Sylvan is a great singer
