Roditelji u Americi imaju pravo ako dobro plate da poshalju svoju neposlushnu maloletnu decu u privatne specijalne kampove za prevaspitavanje kao shto je ovaj na Jamajci. Skretanje sa pravog puta kao npr. narkomanija, alkoholizam, agresivnost i svi ostali vidovi "nenormalnog ponashanja" kod tinejdzera se u ovim kampovima koji vishe podsecaju na zatvore leche na jako specifichan nachin. Po principu nagrade i kazne ova deca dobijaju jako okrutan tretman, gde se koristi i suzavac, onesposobljavanje, zatvaranje, i josh mnoge metode da bi se doveli u red. Shokantna svedochenja dece koja su bila u tim kampovima neka i do 5 godina su zastrashujuca. A najgore shto u nekim sluchajevima roditelji ni ne znaju gde su zapravo poslali decu misleci da su ih poslali u neku vrstu letnjeg kampa za zabavu i rekreaciju. Mnoga deca izlaze iz kampa sa psihichkim problemima jer su tamo chesti i sluchajevi seksualnog zlostavljanja shticenika od strane edukatora pa deca chesto ne mogu da nastave normalan zivot a neka skrecu i u ludilo.

Odlichan dokumentaraca samo za prave ljubitelje old school sleshera sa kraja 70-ih i iz 80-ih. U filmu govore glavni reditelji ovog horor podzanra poput Wes Cravena, Johna Carpentera, pa sve do nove ekipe na chelu sa Rob Zombiem. Pocevshi od '78 i "Halloweena" kao kultnog zachetnika ovog talasa dokumentarac obradjuje svaki bitniji film, poput "Friday the 13th", "Prom Night" i "Happy birthday to me", "Nightmare on the Elm street" a zavrshava se sa "Scream" i tim novim talasom slesher horora koji se polako ali sigurno vraca na velika vrata. Pravi dokumentarac za sve nas kao neka mala psiholoshka priprema za Zombijev rimejk "Halloweena" koji samo shto nije...AWESOME !!!

 

Terrific little documentary, made exclusively for Cable TV which traces the evolution of the slasher subgenre. It is informative and entertaining. The starting point is John Carpenter's seminal "Halloween", with quick looks into older films like "Psycho" and 'Bay of Blood", and the current flock of new slashers. In the documentary, you will see most of the directors that are associated with these kinds of films talk about how they really feel about a much-maligned movie subngre. You will also see endless clips of the most popular and interesting slashers film of the 1970s, 1980s and beyond (anything from "When a Stranger Calls", "Prom Night" and "Pieces", to "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Scream"). The program addresses the claims that this type of movie is inherently misogynic and amoral. For example, the film shows parts of an old 'Siskel & Ebert' program that was dedicated to belittle the slasher subgenre; this in another example of the rampant elitism in film criticism. Not long ago, Bill O'Reilly said that only sick people would want to see movies like "Saw" and "Hills Have Eyes", and his comments reminded me that there are still people out-there who simply do not get it. What I like about this documentary is that it does not preach but explains why slashers appeal to a vast majority of horror aficionados. The documentary does omit a few important titles, but overall, this is an effective dissection (no pun intended) of a type of film. Highly recommended to horror fans.

Odlichno uradjen dokumentarac o po zlu chuvenom Ed Geinu koji je inspirisao chitav niz horor filmova medju kojima su i "Psiho", "Teksashki masakr motornom testerom" i "Kad jaganjci utihnu". Imao sam period kada sam preterano gledao ovaj film (a bogme i sve ostale filmove inspirisane Geinom - posebno mi je Deranged zajeban) a imao sam i period skoro kada zbog njega nisam mogao da zaspim, bez zajebancije...tako da ovaj kanibaizam i sva ova nekrofilja mogu da budu i pogubni za pojedinca u zavisnosnosti od okolnosti...

Josh jedan dokumentarac jako zajeban po emocije. Naime radi se laganom raspadanju jedne kolko tolko normalne americhke porodice posle otkrica da je otac inache nagradjivani i poznati profesor informatike pedofil a da mu je jedan od 3 sina navodno pomagao u tim akcijama. Inache film se vecinom sastoji od svedochenja osoba umeshanih u sluchaj i od isechaka iz "home video" fazona poshto je porodica imala obichaj da snima sve najbitnije dogadjaje u svojim zivotima tako da su snimili ceo sluchaj na svojoj kameri, sve situacije od hapshenja pa do samih presuda. I shto je najgore od svega opet nishta nije onako kako izgleda, i opet su neki svedoci svedochili pod prisilom, pa i ovaj 18-ogodisnji sin je priznao da je kriv jer mu je ponudjena surova nagodba na sudu i tako dalje. Uglavnom jako potresno ali moze da se izvuche nauk iz svega ovoga : nikada, ali nikada ne priznajte nesto sto niste uchinili ili ako ste svedoci pa treba da svedochite o nechemu o chemu pojma nemate jer policija ima pravo da koristi sve moguce metode da izvuche bilo kakav vid priznanja ako im je to potrebno za sluchaj, uostalom njima nikad ni nije bila cilj pravda nego da shto pre zavrshe posao i da idu kuci da jedu leba. Znachi nek vas drze i po 8 sati nek vas ispituju nikad nishta ne priznajte jer cete najebati ako se zajebete, aj shto cete najebati nego cete i ukaljati svoj obraz shto je u ovo sluchaju najbolje prikazano. I ljudi koji tvrde da ne bi nikad priznali ono shto nisu uradili i koji osudjuju one koji su priznali neka pogledaju ovaj film i ona dva "Paradise Lost" dokumentarca pa nek onda sude jer najlakshe je tek tako olako osuditi nekoga za bilo shta a to verujte mi moze sutra i vama da se desi, tj. bilo kome od nas...

Prateci pricu sa Chernobilom naleteo sam na ovaj dokumentarac.Sta znam americka propaganda i sl...Ali opet ima istinitih delova.Naime najsmasniji podatak je tak da navodno niko nije poginuo .Mozda ne u istom trenutku,ali kasnije ko zna koliko ih je nastradalo.Preporucujem svima koje zanima Chernobil i nuklearne katastrofe.

Први део ми се највише свидео јер доста тога нисам знао, за "ages", рецимо. Остало ми је мање-више већ познато, посебно за централну банку. Ако ништа друго, овај документарац би требао да мало продрма естаблишмент и да натера људе да мућну својом главом ако не желе да се нађу усред 1984.
