DARK:SCENE RECORDS

 

Dark Scene is a net-based non-profit record label calibrated to deal with underground music scene in Serbia and ExYu region.

The main orientation is industrial, noise, gothic, death rock, experimental, electronic, darkwave, synth-pop, post-rock... and all bands that have dark sence. We don't use any kind of contract between label and the artist, every artist retains it's copyright over his songs and we do not earn any kind of money out of our release. We're just doing this to promote the scene and help young bands to earn some media attention. We don't give a fuck about those who act like stars or some posers. We're here for the crunch, squeek, hammer and distortion. If you are a band from ExYu region and you want your music to be promoted and released over our label and don't give a fuck about the money or any self-titled artistic masturbating elite, just contact us via our e-mail. Our releases are entirely free and you can download them for free and copy them. We support any kind of public promotion of these artists, ecpecially if it includes playing it too loud on some big industrial equipment in front of many people. Ovo je kompilacija koja ce izaci samo za Francusko trziste pod okriljem Chabane's Recordsa. U pitanju je kompilacija usmerena pretezno na alternative, ambiental, noise rock etc... dakle ne preterano na elektroniku mada ako je vasa numera dovoljno underground D:S ce je prihvatiti. Kompilacija treba da se pojavi sredinom godine a minimalna kompresija za nju je mp3 44khz 320kbps i ne pesme duze od 3-4 minuta. U pitanju je kompilacija sa autorskim radovima.

 

Demo Archives - vol.2

U pitanju je kompilacija demo snimaka bendova koji su snimili 1-2 pesme a odavno su neaktivni i ne postoje. Dakle, ukoliko mislite da ste znali za neki underground bend koji je obelezio underground i mislite da je bitno da se ipak sazna za njih, posaljite nam njihovu pesmu (naravno uz njihovu saglasnost). Mi cemo je objaviti kao vol.2 kompilaciju demo arhiva. Nebitno je da li se radi o snimku sa probe, bootleg snimku sa koncerta ili nesto slicno - vazna je muzika. Pre-menstrual syndrom ,the only all female band, in their early teen, existed from 1990 to 1996 in Belgrade, Serbia. During that period, they recorded four demos, and edited just one split tape with URGH! (1992) named Yonuss Tape. This is the complete re-mastered edition of P.M.S. for the first time in years. It contains all 4 demos and is digitally cleaned up. The sound is punk/grind driven coldwave of the 90's.

DSR058 - Araneum : Soundtrack

This is the first soundtrack release for Dark:Scene records. Movie "Araneum" is a post-apocalyptic drama which takes place in a rustry old dark building. Few of the survivers (of some terrible things "outside") are still living in the building. We follow the young man Adam, who lives with his "elders" , in his everyday life in the buliding. We will soon find out that this builing has horrible secrets. This soundtrack is very ambiental and industrial driven.

DSR070 - Pogreb X : Live in Novi Sad

balkan art shock / punk

Pogreb X is one of the first punk bands from old Yugoslavia gathered and created by Adolf Soldo. They've been around since 1978. and are the best representatives of Balkan punk sound which is pretty much different from Dead Kennedys, Sex Pistols and Ramones sound. They don;t label themselves as punk anymore. Pogreb X was the first band of the Balkan cult punk figure Satan Panonski. Many of the great songs were made in the first years of Pogreb X, songs as: Iza zida, Lepi Mario, Trpi kurvo, Dragi sine moj, Oci u magli, Odrezite sise.. They've never officially released anything in these 32 years so this is really an honor for Dark:Scene records, to be the first one who will release something from these cult guys. This recording took place the first time they visited Novi Sad to play a gig on 5th November 2010. They did a great show with two more bands who were their local support: Drop Dead and dreDDup. Hope you will enjoy this great music and a big thank you to Adolf Soldo from Pogreb X!

Sound of her Wings is a Cyber Noir project, started in 2010 by Victor, formerly frontman of futurepop project Essence of Night. All my Silent Memories is SohW's first release, released for Dark:Scene net label. This release is a sum of different emotions and feelings, ranging from love to hate, from fears to struggles, from ideals to regrets. To describe all these emotions and images, Sound of her Wings created a new and unique dark atmosphere with elements of Darkwave, Metal, Industrial and EBM. Vocals are mainly deep, creating in that way a dark atmosphere, sometimes grownig to highly distorted screams. No musical instrument or technique is a stranger to Sound of her Wings- from electronic beats, to guitar solos and even dreamlike acoustic soundscapes, everything is packed in a new way of audio expressing.

The Secret Art is the new release on D:S records. Pretty much unique release on our label as we never did something like this. This is some classical music inspired by dark ambient gothic. It sounds like a soundtrack for an black-white movie horror from the 1900's. This is a one man project involved around Milos Brkovic. It was originally released in 2008. for an Italian label.
