INTO ETERNITY are currently gearing up for the inaugural Metal For The Masses tour, which will be co-headlined by Swedish titans THE HAUNTED and DARK TRANQUILLITY, with SCAR SYMMETRY rounding out the stellar bill. The month-long trek kicks off on March 19 and marks the group’s second U.S. run with new members Steve Bolognese (ex-BEYOND THE EMBRACE) on drums and Justin Bender on guitars.

INTO ETERNITY just shot a new conceptual video for the track "Timeless Winter" with up-and-coming director Don Thompson, and its stunning imagery is sure to help it stand apart from the pack. Expect a spring premiere.

Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: "We are back to the snow and cold in our hometown again. The DESTRUCTION tour just ended in LA and the weather was perfect, so it was hard to leave. Thanks again to Schmier and DESTRUCTION for the friendship and overall great time! Also, we would like to send a huge thank you to all of our fans who came and supported the tour and drove hundreds of miles to see us. You all rule!

"Even though the tour ended in L.A., our work was not yet over. We spent the whole next day shooting our new video for 'Timeless Winter', and we ended up filming over seven hours of performance footage, along with a few hours for the conceptual segments. There was snow everywhere by the end of the shoot. Steve's drums had an inch on them by the time we were done. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see the final product. Now the band will be taking a week off before heading back to our jam spot to get ready for the Metal for the Masses tour. This will be the metal tour to see this year, without a doubt. This will also mark the second tour with our new members Steve and Justin who proved just how talented they are on the DESTRUCTION tour. This is the tightest INTO ETERNITY lineup yet! We can't wait to see you all on the road.?

Hello everyone,

We are officially done touring for "The Scattering Of Ashes". We

ended up doing 150 shows and being away for close to 200 days of the

year! The whole band did a great job, as it's not always easy being

away from home for so long, but I think it's important to do it the

old-school way and tour as much as we can. No one can say we're a

lazy band!

Our last tour was with Edguy, Light This City and Echoes Of Eternity.

It was a big success for us, so we want to thank those bands again. It

was cool bonding with all the bands and 'bro-ing down' with them at

4:20. This touring cycle, we also got to tour with Megadeth, Lamb Of

God, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Overkill, Sanctity, The Smash-Up,

Destruction, Hirax, Municipal Waste, The Haunted, Dark Tranquillity,

Scar Symmetry, Redemption and the mighty Dream Theater! We ended up

doing five full U.S. tours on this cycle, and they all were special

to us. Playing with Megadeth and Dream Theater each night was a real

dream come true!

Right now we are home in Canada awaiting the cold chill of winter. It

is supposed to snow tomorrow, so I'll be in front of my warm computer

composing new riffs for the next album. For the first time ever, we

will be doing a concept album. Stu and I are working on the lyrics

right now. It's always good to keep moving forward and to try new

things, and this is something that we have always wanted to do. We

have done two songs already, and it's turning out really cool. We'll

keep you posted in the future as things start to progress further.

Extreme progressive metal leaders INTO ETERNITY will join SYMPHONY X and EPICA for a month-long North American trek next spring.

The tour, which kicks off on April 4th, will mark the start of the worldwide touring cycle for the band's new album. An exclusive internet presale is currently available at www.enterthevault.com through November 24th.

Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) states: "The whole band is blown away to be touring with Symphony X! What a way to kick off the new album cycle. I look forward to seeing Epica as well. This is going to be a heavy tour with lots of high singing and shredding, and an amazing package for the fans to see!

"When we were writing Buried In Oblivion in 2002/2003, we listened to a lot of Symphony X. They were an influence on our band for sure. We met Russell [Allen, Symphony X vocalist] at a gig on the Dream Theater tour this summer. Then he came to one of our shows on the Edguy tour, where we hung with him and got wasted on our RV! Thanks to Russell and the guys for going to bat for us and getting us on this package. Hopefully Micheal Romeo will show me a few licks at some point in the tour!"

Into Eternity are currently hard at work on material for their new recording, which guitarist/vocalist Tim Roth says will be the group’s first conceptual album.

The Scattering of Ashes campaign saw the band embark on five North American tours with highlights including an appearance on Gigantour performing alongside MEGADETH and LAMB OF GOD, but it was this past summer’s tour alongside DREAM THEATER that really saw the band reach out to a new audience.
