Al za (eventualno) pravljanje novog pod-foruma - morate da cimate nekog od administratora Al opet razmislite - ako ce biti 20-30 tema na tom novom pod-forumu...da li vrediti cimati za to? Mislim,da li ce administratori biti voljni da prave novi pod-forum za 20-30-40 tema i za vas 10-15 zaludjenika/zaljubljenika u to? A opet, možemo da otvorimo temu, da vidimo koliko ljudi je za stvaranje progressive rock podforuma, i koliko bi ljudi eventualno postovalo tu... S ovim postojećim (razbacanim) i plus gomilom novih, može se stvoriti prava podforumska atmosfera A sad što se tiče broja ljudi, ne možemo znati koliko njih će obitavati na tom delu foruma, ali na kraju krajeva zar je i bitno... Ne verujem da je iko od administratora mogao imati predstavu šta će predstavljati ovaj forum nakon nekoliko godina. E,al posto su oni retko ovde (mada ko zna,mozda se odazovu vasim vapecim PMs ) onda krenite na onaj deo foruma zvani "Ideje i predlozi o forumu" (il' kako se vec zove). Tamo iamte 2 varijante. Prva - sigurna,u smislu da ce je svi videti - post na temi "Predlozi o forumu". Druga - manje sigurna,moracete da sacekate dok se tema odobri (ako se odobri...) - postavljanje teme sa konkretnim problemom i predlogom resenja. A Grounding In Numbers (Released 14th March 2011) 1. Your Time Starts Now 2. Mathematics 3. Highly Strung 4. Red Baron 5. Bunsho 6. Snake Oil 7. Splink 8. Embarrassing Kid 9. Medusa 10. Mr Sands 11. Smoke 12. 5533 13. All Over The Place "In late 2008 and early 2009 preparations began for the next set of recordings. Song fragments were gathered, ideas exchanged, theories, policies and directions discussed. In April 2010 the band met up for intensive tracking sessions in Cornwall, arranging, rehearsing and recording the album in a week. Some of the pieces were already fully-formed songs; others, even at this stage, remained more sketches than fully realised works. Over the next months the tracks were overdubbed, edited and adapted by the band in their own studios. A constant exchange of files over the internet or on CDR kept the project in full alignment. By September the project was ready to be mixed. Hugh Padgham had agreed to take on this part of the process - the first time anyone outside the band had been entrusted such responsibility. After three weeks in Hugh's London studio, Sofasound (which shares its name with Peter's original home set-up), "A Grounding in Numbers" was completed. With a fantastic clarity and depth of sound and a helter-skelter stretch of tunes, "A Grounding..." sees VdGG pushing ever further forward into the twentieth century. AstralliS Posted March 10, 2011 Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 Van Der Graaf generator’s A Grounding In Numbers, is awarded 4 stars in the latest edition of Mojo. “While Trisector (2008) was finely wrought but felt a mite flat, the music here, while still driven by Van Der Graaf’s characteristic restlessness and intensity, sounds bolder and full of colour. It’s also their most melodic set since VDGG’s earliest days. Commencing with a typically hymnal Your Time Starts Now, the album gearshifts into the strident Highly Strung. Peter Hammill’s singing reminds us why he is the greatest pop star that never was, while the group’s momentum is at times diverted into some knotty unison instrumental passages.
