Posto postoji tema o dark black ambient muzici, mislim da bi trebalo da bude i jedna o ambient radovima drugih vrsta. Puno je podzanrova, samo sam neke naveo u opisu teme.

 

Za pocetak, preporucujem Deepspace. Sjajan space ambient, prava muzika za relaksaciju i uzivanje. Ima i slobodnih pesama za download na last fm-u.

Northcape - ambient, chillout, electronica, electronic, idm..

 

Northcape is the ongoing work of a British artist, and can broadly be described as downtempo melodic electronica. Northcape self-released his first CD in 2005, following this with a second independent release (‘Detach’) in 2007 and an EP (‘Some Bright Valley’) on the monotonik netlabel. Northcape’s latest album is Captured From Static, released by Sun Sea Sky Productions on April 6th 2010. The aim is to express ideas and evoke environments, landscapes and memory rather than to focus on the technology and techniques used. Although most tracks don’t have lyrics, they are all drawn strongly from personal experience. Current work continues to widen and deepen Northcape’s style of electronica, bringing in influences from a wide range of genres including IDM, electronica, shoegaze and ambient music.

 

 

 

Venerean - soundscapers, ambient, soundscape, experimental, dark ambient..

 

Venerean is an ambient/drone project created by Robert Millsop in February 2007 with the creation of “Every Night I Am With You. Venerean’s music is minimal, relying primarily on the use of texture rather than structure in order to create expansive soundscapes and atmospheres.

Aurora Aeterna songs are about Nature and Mysticism, attempting to capture in music something that is beyond words and is felt through out your mind, body and soul. It is music for meditation and relaxation, bringing the listener into a whole new level of perception of inner and outer worlds.

 

 

 

Stars of the Lid - ambient, drone, post-rock, electronic, instrumental

 

Stars of the Lid is a band specializing in drone-based ambient music. They list among their influences minimalist and electronic composers such as Arvo Pärt, Zbigniew Preisner, Gavin Bryars, and Henryk Górecki, as well as Talk Talk (both bands have tracks named “Taphead”), post-rock artists Labradford, and ambient innovator Brian Eno. Their music largely consists of beatless soundscapes, composed of droning, effects-treated guitars along with piano, strings, and horns; volume swells and feedback fill the gap of rhythmic instruments, providing dynamic movement within the songs.

JUTA TAKAHASHI was born in Miyagi, Japan in 1959, and then spent his childhood to teens in Aomori. At his teens, he was strongly influenced by so-called progressive rock and synthesizer music that had been assumed to be avant-garde at that time. He went to Tokyo for going on to school, and his career as a musician started afterwards. Though he originally was a guitarist and played rock music like King Crimson’s that valued improvisation, he gradually devoted himself to electronic music. He now resides in Sendai, Miyagi and is producing music by using synthesizers and computers as an independent musician. He received the major impact from electronic/ambient musicians, such as Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Vangelis and Pete Namlook, etc. Though his music is basically beautiful, calm, emotional and melodious, aggressive sounds that catch a glimpse of his original background also appear sometimes. Since he prefers analog instruments to digital ones, his works are characterized by the former. His music composition mainly consists of not programming but improvisation. The first commercial album was released in August, 2007, and seven albums have been released at present.

Caustic Reverie is a side project of The Forgotton’s Bryn Schurman to explore darker textures and soundscapes. So far, techniques such as image-based synthesis and field recordings have been employed in its sound design.

Tribe Of Astronauts - ambient, experimental, electronic, dark ambient, drone

 

Tribe of Astronauts is a loose recording collective consisting of some artists affiliated with Webbed Hand Records, Treetrunk Records, Infinite Sector, and other netlabels. It is an “anonymized” project, an opportunity for the artists to create work not in the style of their main projects.

 

Any netlabel artist may release work as Tribe of Astronauts on any netlabel, under the condition that they release the work under Creative Commons or Public Domain, and claim no ownership of or exclusive rights to the name “Tribe of Astronauts.”

 

Much of the output has been experimental, long-form ambient and electronic music, but there is no set style for TOA, nor any set artist lineup, so future works may be unlike prior works.

 

Because Tribe of Astronauts does not want the listener to focus on the artist, but only the recordings, it is consequently an exercise in ego nonattachment. TOA makes the work, and gives it to you, with no expectation of remuneration or gratitude. If you like it, share it. If you dislike it, nobody cares.
