Quote

Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Which places gave you the best reception? DC: Ahh...I know what you're after!... I must say we are blessed to be received positively wherever we set up to play... It's amazing... This time out we had the pleasure of going to countries we haven't played before & the response was overwhelming! For instance... we played Beograd... Belgrade... in an old, war ravaged hockey stadium... An amazing, soulful atmosphere!... So appreciative... I played there 32 years ago with Deep Purple... & I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to return... Slovenia... Macedonia... Turkey... Yeah, Baby!... I hope they invite us back! Slip of the Tongue nije apsolutno bio komercijalni neuspeh. Quote

Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Sa Tomijevim solom na bubnjevima je, to je poenta. A i lepo pise na omotu. Dok sam gledao spisak pesama na Amazonu, pitao sam se sta znaci CitR bonus, kad vec postoji i na regularnom izdanju. Quote
Archibald Reiss Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 A pa to i nije neka novost, tj. ja to kapiram kao "pauzu" na toj pesmi... a jos na DVD-ju ima taj deo tj. snimak kako covek przi bubanj Quote
Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Slusam danas ovaj novi CD i kad je naisla "The Deeper The Love", podsetih se jednog praistorijskog dogadjaja, pa cu da ga iskoristim za jos jedan monolog. Davna, pradavna vremena. Quote
Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 Deo itervjua sa Douglasom Aldrichom: Tell us something about how Reb Beach ended up being in Whitesnake. When I talk to him some few years ago, he said he did an audition for Whitesnake. He was then was waiting for a call from David but because he never got he decided to call his old friend Don Dokken and said that he would like to rejoin Dokken. Then suddenly David called him and ask if would still like to join Whitesnake because someone else had just changed his mind and didn't want to participate new Whitesnake line up. Reb agreed and then he was in... Yeah that’s pretty much how it happened… Was it possibly John Sykes who he was talking about then? No, it was Warren DeMartini. In the begining. David and I discussed Reb and Warren. I thought since Warren had worked with David previously, that would be cool. But Warren had other commitments. Reb was the perfect choice. He and I have very different style and it works out well together. I didnt know all his work, just the MTV Winger songs I guess. But he was obviously a great player. I talked with Reb in the early stages and I asked what do you think? He was really excited, he was happy to do whatever in the band. Whitesnake has been a twin lead guitar band mostly, so we figured out who would play various parts over the phone. We kind of split up stuff so the parts that suited my style I did and if there was something I wasn't sure, we tried it and whoever seemed more comfortable with it we just did it like that, and it's just been working out good you know, everything's cool. And Reb's a great guy, he's really just a good hearted guy and I think our styles are different enough, it's not like having two of the same guitarist. Quote
Evo pesme koju su pisali on i Kovi... Can't go on ----------------------------------------------- (David Coverdale & Adrian Vandenberg) I've been feeling sentimental, In a melancholy way, Blues siting on my shoulder, Getting heavier every day... Staring into space, One thing on my mind, I've been trying to drown The thought of you By drinking too much wine... Then my imagination Starts running wild, I snap my fingers And you're there by my side... Can't go on without your love, There's no song without your love... Ain't no reason, ain't no rhyme, Without your love I'll go out of my mind... Been getting too lazy, Letting myself go, Feeling like a refugee No one cares for anymore... Endless lonely days, I just try to get through, And there's no escape, Even when I sleep, 'Cause all I dream is you... Then my imagination Gets the better of me, 'Cause you're everywhere I go, In everything I see... I can't go on without you love, There's no song without your love... There ain't no reason, there ain't no rhyme, Without your love I'll go out of my mind... You make me dance, You make me sing, When I'm with you I can do anything... When I'm cold, You keep me warm. And give me shelter From the howling storm... There ain't no reason, there ain't no rhyme, Without your love I'll go out of my mind... Can't go on without your love, There's no song without your love... Quote
Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 A sad malo Reb Beach: Do you think you will be part of the new album, either writing or playing on it? I play on 2 songs of the 4 studio tracks we did on the live album, but I just did it from my home. I just did some solo's from where Doug told me to play. I imagine what this deal will be to, unless David is inspired by what I send him and wants to do some kind of writing and then I'll probably fly out there and finish some songs with him. Depends what he thinks. What is it like playing in a 2 guitar situation with Doug compared to being a solo player, and when you were in the DOKKEN gig? It's completely different. I was in 2 guitar players in Alice so I know the drill. You just have to work things out and Doug really is, he can sound like the guitar player on the "Crying In The Rain" album. I can't think of his name right now. John Sykes? Ya Sykes! He sounds like Sykes and I don't. I can sound like Vai, but Vai didn't play on a lot of songs. I'm pretty good at the blues, so I got some blues sol's here and there. Doug gets the big solos because he's great at that stuff. I'm happy with that. There's no weirdness there with that. I told David when I first got the gig I'd play behind the amps just so I'd be in Whitesnake. That's all I really care about. Like your favourite band? Not my favourite band, but it's one of the bandsthat blew me away, I was a kid when that album came out. "Still Of The Night" was the coolest thing I'd ever heard since Led Zeppelin. Just to be part of it, only the best musicians are playing with David, so it's a real honor. Does he give you total freedom to play what you want in your solo's? Ya. I mean if I'm Steve Vai-ing it out to much or I'm riffing my face off right from the get go on a blues song, then David will come up and say, "Hey dude, lets get back to the basics here mister." (laughs) He's old school and likes it a certain way but for the most part he lets me do what I want, as long as I'm not doing something that's not right for the part. Quote

Looking for love je mozda najbolja Snejk balada... rame uz rame sa Is this love i Ain't no love. Gonna break my heart again je onako klasicna brza pesmica... nije lose, ali kopija vecine sa Slip of the tongue perioda. Quote
