At first, I was skeptical that new Alice In Chains tunes could be any good…especially after those Jerry Cantrell solo offerings. But Black Gives Way To Blue was easily one of the best records of 2009. Seeing as that last effort shattered all of my expectations, the news that Alice In Chains will release new shit next year is…well, fucking rad. The PRP spotted an online interview with the head of Velvet Hammer, the band’s management team, and in it, David “Beno” Benveniste says that Alice will start writing new music this year. Literally…that’s all he said. And I quote: “Alice in Chains will start writing a record this year.” I assume that effort would be out sometime in 2012, but that’s just conjecture on my part. The folks at Velvet Hammer are solid people who know how to protect their artists…saying more than just “The band will start writing” could’ve led to unnecessary pressure from the blogiverse. “We recently announced a handful of U.S. tour dates for System Of A Down, and we have more announcements coming in the next couple of weeks. The band has been off for five years, so there’s been a huge excitement factor on the web. The kids are going nuts.” So, there’s that too — more coming from System of a Down. Nastavio je da se druzi samo sa Lejnijem, i bio je poslednji koji se cuo sa njim, dan pred njegovu smrt. Kajao se do same smrti zbog nacina na koji su se rastali, evo sad su napokon zajedno. Nek pocivaju u miru. A ove picke nek mi popuse kurac. Dzeri je odlican gitarista, nema sta, i prvi solo album mi se mnogo svidja. Najvise sto sam mrzeo kod njega je sto se druzio sa najvecim supcima, jabala ga Metalika i Bil Klinton i svi redom... 1 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
metal guru Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 Pa sad, nisu ga oni izbacili tek tako, vec je bio tolika narkomancina, da je cak i za njih bilo previse, mozes misliti kolko je daleko to islo... To oko Dzerija vidim da mnogima smeta, ali meni ne, zato sto druzenje sa tim supcima nije nikad uticalo na njegovu muziku. Svidja se i meni prvi album, ali ipak dosta vise drugi, naravno kad se preslusa onako kako treba, kao dupli! LoveHateLove Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 (edited) Layne je bio jos veca narkomancina pa ga nisu izbacili, a nisu zato sto njegov vokal niko ne moze da zameni, basistu je lako naci drugog. Jel ti znas brate u kakvom je on stanju bio za vreme onog MTV unplugged koncerta? I posle onih nekoliko singlova sto su izbacili, raspadao se bukvalno ali ipak je to uradio zbog njih. Uostalom u njegovom zadnjem intervju-u navodno je rekao da mu oni nisu prijatelji. Taj intervju je radila neka kurva iz argentine, mozda je to uradila i zbog publiciteta, ne znam. Znam da je napisala knjigu a porodica od Lejnija se protivila tome, mislim da su se cak nesto i tuzili. Uglavnom, ziveo je u izolaciji poslednjih godina i nije se druzio sa ostalim clanovima niti im je otvarao vrata od stana, a dan pred smrt je zvao Majka da mu cestita rodjendan, i posto je Majk insistirao da zove pomoc a on to nije hteo tu su se "posvadjali". Sto se tice Dzerija on je bio porodican covek i ja mu to ne zameram. Smeta mi sto se druzio sa elitistima i nista vise, inace mislim da nije los lik ovako, jednostavno ziveo je drugaciji zivot.
