VoivodBG Posted April 5, 2009 Report Share Posted April 5, 2009 Rumors about musician Mike Patton's involvement in the highly anticipated summer sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen were confirmed today by a "close" friend of the singer (who may or may not live in Philadelphia). More of a cameo than a leading robot, Patton will lend his unique vocal talents to Mixmaster, one of the seven Decepticons that form to create Devastator. He is a concrete mixing truck that serves as the left leg of this gigantically awesome robot. While Patton's participation in the film was 100% confirmed, the "source" didn't seem quite so positive about the actual robot he would be playing, at times calling him a dump truck (which is actually Long Haul). Either way, he will voice one of the seven vehicles that form Devastator. Patton is said to have landed the gig after producers heard his voice work on the video game The Darkness. This is a big year for the prolific singer, as his score for Crank: High Voltage will be released this coming Tuesday. VoivodBG Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 Danas je u Studiju 5 RTS-a organizovano novinarsko preslušavanje novog albuma grupe Van Gogh Lavirint. Frontmen Van Gogha Zvonimir Đukić Đule istakao je da je Lavirint manje posredna ploča nego raniji albumi grupe, i uporedio vrstu iskrenosti Lavirinta sa vernijim zvukom koji se dobije kad se u studiju koriste kraći kablovi. Album će najpre biti objavljen u saradnji sa Telekomom, a za dva meseca će se naći i u običnoj distribuciji širom sveta, najavio je Đule. Van Goghov PR Ivan Ivačković istakao je da se oseća kao podeljena ličnost pošto je u isto vreme i rock kritičar, ali da mu to ne pada puno teško jer je ubeđen da je u pitanju izvanredan album. Preslušavanju je prisustvovao i glumac Bogdan Diklić, koji je istakao kako ga je veoma dirnula radost kojom album odiše. Dominiraju ljubavne pesme, sa temama koje se uglavnom tiču neuzvraćene ljubavi - od zaljubljenosti (Lepa žena), preko ogorčenja i besa u neuspešnoj vezi (duet sa Ramirezom - ex-Sunshine (meni nije ni do čega), sete (Aerodrom, Rođendan) do rezignacije (Kad znam da ne voliš me). Grupa planira mnoštvo koncerata u zemlji i inostranstvu, kao i spotove za sve pesme sa Lavirinta.
