btw, to je bila neka charity svirka za tobijevu devojku koja je napisala tekst za tu stvar i koja ima nesto zajebano, rak kostiju ili takav neki uzas.

 

super mi je sto toby svira bas umesto gitaru na ovoj pesmu, daje neku doomy atmosferu.

Ehnahre is an avant-garde death/doom metal band formed by ex members of Kayo Dot and Biolich. Their current line-up includes:

 

Ryan McGuire - bass, double-bass, voice, percussion

John Carchia - guitar, voice

D.J. Murray - guitar, voice, keyboard

Ricardo Donoso - drums

 

Their debut album “The Man Closing Up” was released on Sound Devastation Records in September 2008, and features guest appearances from Jonah Jenkins (voice, Raw Radar War), Forbes Graham (trumpet, ex-Kayo Dot), Greg Massi (guitar, ex-Kayo Dot/maudlin of the Well),and Greg Kelley (trumpet, nmperign/Heathen Shame) among others.

преслушао двапут, досадно и вокал је пресмешан а баш је напред и прегласан у продукцији, али неком се мождак и свиди овде...

vise lici na prelaz mudlina u kayo. tipa da se pojavio pre choirs of the eye

 

Ovo je Choirs of the eye, sa manje avangardnosti i improvizacije. (a i prkosna je cinjenica sto oba albuma imaju po 5 pesma i polako se grade od pocetka do kulminacije na kraju u post-rock maniru, sto nije bio slucaj sa Maudlinom)

 

Ono sto sam slutio i ono sto sam sada shvatio je to da Tobi i kompanija vishe nemogu da stvaraju kao MOTW. Jednostavno to nije to, kada sam prvi put cuo LYBM/Bath nisam mogao da verujem kolko su ta dva albuma raznovrsna i kolko su stvari rekli, odsvirali na samo jednom albumu. Imali smo pesme gde sviraju death metal pa sa njih prelaze na akustichni rokic, pa na doom metal . Konstantno su nas vozili kroz album i ta raznovrsnot je bila fenomenalno ukomponovana sa odredjenom dozom avangardnosti i progresivnosti, chak mislim da su Bath/LYBM bili malo instrumentalno raznovrsniji. Ali ono sto je najvaznije zvuchali su veoma sveze, dok ovo slusham Kayo Dot mi pada na pamet ovo nije nishta novo sto se ne bi ocekivalo od Kayo Dota. I bash tako zvuchi, osim promene tempa nema tu vishe vozanja.

 

Nisam razocharan albumom, nego samo sam razocharan sto je ovo izashlo pod MOTW etiketom. Realno album je dobar kao neki avangardni post-rock/ progressive rock , dosta ima dobrih momenata ali ja sam ocekivao skroz nehsto drugo. No, najbolje pesme su mi prva i cetvrta, tik samo ono negde u sredini pete pesme malo podseca na MOTW. Jedino mi je nekako treca dosadnjikava, ali daleko od loshe.

ovo.

 

plus na choirs of the eye nema improvizacija uopste, sve je to raspisano i komponovano.

 

jedino sto fali ovde su oni heavy doom riffovi i growl, a posto byron vise nece da peva, samo da pise tekstove, to sam i ocekivao.

lunare "problem" je sto muzika nije napisana dveiljade devete vec su to pesme odavno pisane koje verovatno nisu ni mislili ikad da snime kad je rasformiran motw... samo su sad dopisali/doradili neke delove.
